This is a behind the scenes from a TV show. He’s the guy who plays the character whose gravestone it is. He’s mad that people are memeing a behind the scenes photo of a fictional character’s death because he happens to play that character.

I'm going to be honest with ya, every time I've seen someone complain about 'gatekeeping' it's either been with what was obviously an edge case restricted to one games/comics store that ceases to be an issue the second they go to the OTHER store in town, OR, it's someone who honest to god doesn't enjoy the content but damn well feels like they should have a right to dictate what the content should be.

Or it's about controlling the behavior of other people who might also be in whatever particular group they're talking about. Despite the fact engaging with or around this person is often voluntary and not necessary to your enjoyment of whatever thing the group was formed around. (Group here meaning any vague community/fandom/etc.)

The response of an actual fan to being gatekept is to go make their own fandom space and leave the other space the fuck alone. It's only culture terrorists who are seeking to disrupt and destroy that demand to be let in at all costs.
