I had been asked for a new Moshang piece for quite some time, so let's go with one! I started a new (short) illustration series with the worst danmei pick up lines for Valentines :D Those two dorks couldn't be left out of it :D Also, I have quite a hard time picking the worst line for Wangxian... Do you mind help me here? The 'Come back to Gusu with me' doesn't feel dorky enough.

Here we go with the summary! I know I said I wanted to draw much more mecha and originals (which happened, just way less than I expected), but I'm still quite happy with the progress I made this year. It's been a hard year for me, art-wise; I had been dealing with a real shit contract that drained me both emotionally and energetically. I still managed, somehow, but let's hope 2026 will be easier ;D

As for Shen Jiu: all the cards had already been decided with my patrons, and as much as I would love to paint him, I'm not sure how many people would notice the difference between Shen Yuan and Shen Qingqiu. I'll surely paint him in the future, but I was thinking about a classic Qijiu art instead ;) Next in line will be Sha Hualing, and then I'll probably focus on Binghe <3

I was thinking about how we treat resurrection as something painful for the Lamb, but what if the process is generally painless, but is leaving them with the memory hole every time it happens, because Narinder never lets their consciousness come back before he's finished with their body? Like, on one hand it's caring, but on the other hand it's the horrors of leaving The One Who Waits with their body to do as he pleases?

Just a thought. I have been deeply in CotL lore, that's it.
