At 7:15 on a Sunday morning, I found myself in my kitchen making pancakes as cinnamon buns cooked in the oven and bacon was sizzling. The coffee was brewing, the TV was on, and my friends were already on their way over. Why, you ask? Because the men’s gold medal hockey game started at 2pm in Milan, which meant it was 8am in Toronto, and we were going to eat breakfast, have some mimosas, and watch…
