Instead of saying "I have a red, white, and blueberry latte for ya" i said "red white and ROYAL blue latte". Oh im going to end my life
June 20th, 2026.
More afternoons reading in hammocks.
Someone update him
I just love how Casey had put their main bisexual characters ( well except for Theo) in some degree of history classes, from AP highschool classes to actual history degrees (◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*。

Just saw this and i love that they really show to us that there should be a clear sense of distinction between the character that they created on paper and the one that’s been adapted by film producers on screen. It makes me wanna focus on the fandom creators who also highlight this separation of movie vs book in their inspired creations, especially in fanarts. Because sometimes (i’m guilty of this) i only visualize alex as tzp inside my head when there’s a version of alex living inside the pages of the pink book who’s not taller than henry and who doesn’t wear santal 33 perfume, and he’s just as cooler but blurred in the background of my brain.
I think about as an example in the arcane fandom, fans are very aware of the different versions of jayce talis (school boy jayce and unshowered-other-dimension jayce) and it’s my personal favorite to see two jayce’s in fanarts and fics (the same with viktor). And this has been used very well to the writers and artists’ very creative advantage *wink* thank you *wink*
And i now see that this is how it always goes inside cmq’s head: the constant line between the different versions of their characters. I see their huge respect for their created characters, and i’m inspired. I guess what I’m trying to say is that i want to see more arts/fics with two sets of firstprince from both versions interacting with each other. There’s a ton of creativity that could possibly arise from that alone. And I know that there are book or movie-only fanatics, and that cannot be avoided, but there’s a larger number of fans of both.
So ig i’m gonna think more about this quick reflection bc it’s such a refreshing perspective. Thank you cmq!
Finished reading ”I Kissed Shara Wheeler” by Casey McQuiston today and can someone please turn this into a tv-series in the style of Heartstoper I’d watch the hell out of that
"Going through hell and painting pink nail polish over it."
