Grateful for having been forgiven, and now I realise this has been the whole point of everything. To not have been defined by a mistake I made years ago, and how much praise having had the balls to repair something complex deserves, too. To have had a friend for years and that for many years we mattered enough we'd invest in seeing one another in person. Until it was time for its ending and it had all the reason to end.

Just now this echoes, and this weight has been slowly going off me. I see this is how closure finally looks like from my side of everything, now it is finished

I don't harbor any bad feelings towards anyone from my past. I have untied them from my dock and let them float out to sea.

#Ambiguous losses might be terrible for a brain built to understand before it accepts but I'll always part with compassion #Time to provide myself with the same generosity as I have for the other #It is okay to realise that a confusing dynamic has little room to hold a friendship yet can still be met with understanding for both people #That I process and move on by talking and another does by retreating. That missing a few pages of a story is not fulfilling -#But does it gratify if I could read them? Let bygones be bygones and let it go down the river
