I feel I'm always grappling with the blessing and the curse that is having spent (and spending) my coming of age into adulthood in a rural/suburban place - not in a bustling city full of wonderful distractions and a rich tapestry of energy and mixture of people.

During peak summer days like these, the loneliness can weigh heavy and the fields act as amplifiers to any corners that feel alone in me. I'm thinking of making plans to move to Frankfurt (DE), even if it is to catch up briefly on a decade of city buzz I've always loved to be part of.

#It has given me the capability to be alone as well ironically so. I'm very in touch with nature's rhythm and I am easily content -#Not having been constantly fed with noise and colours and people and other man's lives #But I have a social soul and I'm always a little stuck in the echochamber when alone in summer. The garden brings me comfort though #Thinking of my friends in Rotterdam or Amsterdam or Berlin or NYC or London or Paris. Y'know. There is loneliness in the urban too #But it's a different loneliness. This one is really of the ticking of time

A simple, domestic, indoorsy/outdoorsy life with plenty of travels & adventure, my book case bursting at the seams, an expansive French-style kitchen, Jenna all grey and shaking out the rain after a long walk together (but still here healthy), someone in my bed whom I have effortless mutual understanding with, who is crazy about me
