Anyway...everyone up in arms about Supriya Ganesh leaving the show (and yes, I'll miss her too, for sure)....but folks've failed to recognize that episode 13 introduced an Armenian-American woman (Sofia Hasmik) portraying an Armenian-American character (Nazely Toomarian). Like, explicitly.
I think this may be the first time in my life I've ever seen a textually Armenian-American character on my screen.
I really hope she returns for a bigger role in season 3.
By the way, seeing an actor (Sofia Hasmik) from my current hyperfixation (Superman & Lois) show up in my other current hyperfixation (The Pitt) has been INSANE. Mind you these were filmed YEARS apart. I genuinely SQUEELED when she came on screen. Have an amazing day everyone, I know I am.
