reading this i realized that i was cleaning out my stuff and found one of these quarters literally an hour ago cleaning out my room. huh!

Pauli Murray was a HUGE part of the fights for civil rights and women's rights; her legal reasoning was used heavily in Brown vs the Board of Education (for which she wasn't credited).
Amazon has an excellent documentary. I also read one of her memoirs (Song in a Weary Throat), it's so good.
AND she became the first Black female Episcopal priest. AND she was a published poet.

(I do use she/her pronouns for her because she used them for herself. But....yeah I do think she probably wouldn't if she was alive now.)
