what do you MEAN you get a TON more durge specific dialogue from ketheric if you pick 'hear hear' in the throne room instead of any other dialogue option?? 😭 like they seriously couldn't work the dialogue tree so that you got those internal narrator memory lines and overt ketheric recognition any other way?? truly the unfinished halfass implementation of durge content for act 2 is even worse than I thought

oak's entire arc 2 story only is the way it is because of poor durge content implementation. like I love that he's a sneaky avoidant lying bastard who intentionally keeps his friends in the dark as memories start coming back to him, but he should not have gotten away with it because all the companions should be like 'whoah people here know and recognize you? what's going on??'

this is even truer and funnier when ketheric is immediately like 'oh it's you again, you used to be important but now you're nothing, so don't cause trouble.' like I thought just getting the coy little 'let our friend punish them, he's creative' and nothing else was intentional but it's nOT EVEN kdjfhghfh

#once I was looking for extra dialogue in moonrise I did every option with the warden and there's nothing else interesting there #same black tongued sense of humour as ever I see is the most fun and personal line you can get #and detect thoughts only gets into about the levers and loot upstairs #also tried every option with the absolute when you reach into the wall and speak to it and that was fun #it really did like durge best out of the chosen like it wasn't even close #I didn't get that conversation on my first time either I just succeeded on the first check #but I did get it on my replaythrough #also finally found out that ketheric's undead dog doesn't actually recognize durge he just recognizes the scent of the selunite blessing!#scribblingface plays bg3

once I finish the twenty short story collections I've started I'll have read so many books this year

#just finished tanith by choice! that was a really enjoyable collection #there were three vampire stories in here #and each was a completely different take on the concept of vampires #lee conveys so much vivid imagination and imagery in her stories #and it's personally inspiring to read work by writers also drawing on 'horny' as a fuel source for creativity #can't think of a better way to phrase that but I mean it very sincerely and not in a reductive way #scribblingface reads #me posting
