#i’m not gonna say anything til the episode drops on youtube#but i enjoyed it a lot#and i was so patient with the annoying children#we had one cosplayer: a transfem zooble kid who’d clearly made her outfit and done a great job#when she walked in the theatre the kids applauded and that was nice to see#unexpectedly one of the groups seemed to be 12 year old boys who were extremely into the lore#they spent the whole time before the film making fun of each others’ cracking voices#i’m not even mad it’s part of the experience of being out in public#if i needed total silence i could have waited for the youtube drop#honestly my biggest takeaway is really hoping that when the hype dies down goose can engage with her work in a way that feels good#she really made something impressive#this is going to change the way indie animation works and she did it telling a cool fucking story#i just hope the idiots online haven’t ruined it entirely for her#personal#text post#cash watches stuff#i’m seeing absolutely insane takes in the subreddits already
