I typically don’t consider myself superstitious, aside from some general common sense/fae protection ideas

However. One superstition I’ve developed as an adult is to never ever ever tell people about projects I have in progress. I don’t mean “look at this half completed drawing.” I mean things like “I’m working on something special to get into a gallery.”

Anything that involves a bit of luck or on a larger scale, I keep close to the chest. This isn’t a belief I was raised with but some version of it exists in many cultures
