So frustrating that my favorite poem of all time is in iambic tetrameter but in rhyming couplets with no stanza structure (AABBCCDDEEFFGG... etc. etc. etc.) It would make such a great shape note text if there was any reasonable choice of couplets to make verses out of. But alas, Meredith is a wordy fucker, and it's hard to put together meaningfully complete sentences or ideas in 12-16 lines.
