Look. Look. DNIs don't work. Bad people, on the whole, don't believe they're bad people. Real predators aren't going to look at your "predators don't talk to me!" notice and say, "oops, my bad, can't prey on this one." They're going to ignore it, either because they don't think they're predators, or because they know it and they don't care that you don't want them there. And you're going to think, oh, I've put up a notice, I'm safer because of it, and you'll be less alert to signals and red flags that someone might actually be dangerous to you. DNIs don't work and they shouldn't make you feel safer. Because you're not.

I don't understand how this is even a defence in the age of drone warfare.
