When playing as 47 with âhitman visionâ you can see important items/pick-upables/interaction points etc. Iâm going to say this is just something they engineered into him when making the perfect hitman, if you play anything like i do this means you pick up every item that isnât nailed down just in case you need it later.
In Darkside Detective, like many point and click games you cant see whats important but you can pick up a number of items that are nonsensical until you figure out what you need them for (often a puzzle further down the road) and its important to check everything because if you miss an item you will struggle because itâll be in a location you thought you cleared. All the items have fun descriptions but you can only pick up the important ones.
ANYWAYS
McQueens ability to see an item and go âthis is importantâ and pocket it is because heâs related to 47 (how close is up to you). Maybe after the whole taking down Providence or exposing the ICA, someone decided he was a bit too much of a wild card and thought maybe splicing his DNA with someone else might create someone easier to control. Blah blah they loose the baby and either the baby grows up to be McQueen or procreates and eventually McQueen is born with an odd but surprisingly useful talent.

Hey the scammers have leveled up, using real accounts. Not sure if they were hacked or not. Either way, besides the obvious scam remarks, thats not my username.
Aposematism is the advertising by an animal, to predators that it is not worth attacking or eating. Aka I look like danger because I am. Itâs anti-camouflage, closer to a warning symbols right before deadly consequences.
Jaskier for all his masterful choices of making himself appear harmless, smaller, still carefully signals that he is the bigger threat, a steel sword wrapped in silk to hide itâs shape and edges. When he finds Geralt, the witcher doesnt seem to recognize all of his warnings on display (of course normal people donât either but thats on them) and as a monster hunter no less. Jaskier is so fascinated he has to invite himself along.

Plot twist would be that Tim Drake is the least sleep deprived of all the batfam because he had the parent/bully Bruce into going the fuck to sleep every night when he started and doesn't want to be anything like that version of Bruce, and he now also has the most medical issues that can be wildly negatively affected by unhealthy habits. Which means he's also one of the healthiest eaters. Might as well say he's on mental health medication on top of his antibiotics for his spleen.
The reason he still has the reputation of being the one with the most unhealthy habits is because he's super pale so any blemish (eye bags, blotchy skin, etc) shows up like a neon light and he's a workaholic that hammers things out as efficiently as possible. Boy just gets triple the work done in half the time when compared to Bruce or his brothers.
He lets said reputation stand so none of the fam wakes him up when he goes to bed because "omg he's actually sleeping! No one wake him!". Cass and Alfred probably know what's up, but would never rat him out because "thank fuck, someone in this disaster family is taking care of themselves!". Jason definitely figures it out once they get on brotherly terms and finds it hilarious, thus starts "snitching" on Tim for stupid made up shit (like saying Tim's been up for 4 days straight and living off sugar and caffeine or whatever) to make his favourite brother's life both easier (people let Tim sleep, eat, and rest with minimal protest) and harder (every time he lies about some unhealthy thing "Tim's doing" Tim gets lectured).
This has been sitting in my drafts for a while, but in light of all the bullshit attacks on queer and nsfw creators lately, here it is I guess đ€·
I had been wanting to ditch Google Docs for years, but most "Google docs alternatives" weren't a good fit for my needs: A good mobile experience, and the ability to sync my work across devices. Most of the common alternatives people throw around are either iOS only, desktop only, or not free to use.
So it wasn't until I found @ellipsus-writes that I finally made the switch back in September 2024. The app is well-designed, works across devices, supports collaboration, AND they're staunchly anti-AI, queer friendly, and fanfic friendly! đ
It's not perfect (yet!) mind, but it's pretty damn close for me. Some caveats:
Formatting options are a bit limited at this time. Your font choice applies to the whole document, and things like subscript and superscript aren't available. (This is my biggest gripe atm, as my current writing project involves a lot of research and footnotes).
Ellipsus does not have a native app, so you won't find it on the AppStore/Play Store. Instead, it is a web app. It runs in the browser. But on mobile devices, you can get a more "app-like experience" by adding it to your home screen. (More on that later)
You cannot 'magically' import all of your work from Google docs into Ellipsus. You'll have to import them manually. One at a time.
But uh... One cool thing Ellipsus has that Google Docs does not? An "Export to AO3" feature! No more fixing formatting issues or having to use that "Format for AO3" user script that can be laggy as hell!
Part 1: Getting your work into Ellipsus
As of this writing, Ellipsus can only import Markdown (.md) files. So in order to get your work imported, you'll first have to export it from Google Docs (or whatever you currently use) as markdown.
The shitty thing is, Google Docs only lets you do this on desktop đ«
So from desktop, open your document, and go to "File -> Download -> Markdown":
But once you've done that, open Ellipsus, click the "+" icon in the bottom menu, and select "Import Markdown".
Part 2: Getting that 'App-like' Experience
Open Ellipsus in your mobile browser of choice. You might get a prompt to "Install Ellipsus", but if not, just open the main browser menu. You should have an option for "Save/Add to Home screen", "Download Web App", or something similar. Select that option, and you'll get an Ellipsus icon on your home screen. Now when you open Ellipsus via this shortcut, it will open in a dedicated 'window' as if it were a native appâand without the clutter of the browser's address/tool bars!
Caveat: On my previous phone, I experienced some significant lag while typing via Firefox for Android. To get around this, I used Chrome instead for running the web app. (boo, hiss). Happy to report though that on my new phone, the lag is completely gone in Firefox! But yeah, your mileage may vary.
Part 3: Establishing Your Workflow in Ellipsus
If like me, your work is primarily longer, multi-chapter fics, the ability to export those chapters for posting to AO3 is probably very important to you... The big caveat to the exporting features in Ellipsis is that they will export the entire document. There's no way to say, "Export everything under the "Chapter X" heading.
So there's two workarounds here:
Create a folder for each story, and create each chapter as a separate document in that folder, or
Create one document for each story, and create each chapter as a "draft"within that document.
I use method #2, because I think it makes navigating between chapters a little faster, but you do you.
Consider that true appeal of drafts is the ability to merge changes into the main document. But if you're creating your chapters as drafts within a single document, this won't quite work because the merger won't know where to place this completely different 'draft' within the main documentâit will think you want to replace the content of the main document entirely:
If your draft contains only the content for a single chapter, but your main document contains the rest of your story, the merger will want to remove all the other parts of your story, and also just have like... a really wonky diff check in general.
As a method #2 person: once I've finished/published a chapter, I copy and paste the content of the chapter into the main document, then delete the relevant draft. If the ability to just merge drafts into the main document as intended is important to you, then method #1 would probably suit your needs better.
Part 4: Collaborating & The Export to AO3 Feature
Just as with Google docs, you can invite collaborators to your documents, or share a link for viewing. By highlighting sections of text, you and your collaborators can also add comments:
When sharing/exporting a document or draft, you'll have the option to export to AO3:
When your AO3 account is connected, the "Export to AO3" feature will display a list of your existing works. You can choose to edit or add a chapter to one of them, or post a new work entirely.
Whatever your choice, the exporter will copy the document HTML to your clipboard and open a tab straight to the publishing form on AO3. Paste the HTML, add your tags, summary, and any author's notes, and you're ready to post!
Part 5: The Future
Ellipsus is a bit of a fledgling compared to most writing software out there and has a pretty limited feature set. However, development is pretty active, updates come out regularly, and you can also vote on (or make your own) feature suggestions!
Mandalorians are like selkies, something something, if you manage to get their helmet off (they can remove it themselves/if they do it themselves does count) you are a serious contender for marriage, the severity of the seriousness depends on the clan

I feel like thereâs needs to be, like, handbook for authors who post on Ao3 for effective metatext.
By metatext I mean like tagging, summary, and authors notes (especially initial authors notes at the beginning of a fic). The means by which we communicate to our readers what theyâre getting into.
Because we kind of all have to learn it by osmosis and there are conventions but nobodyâs really taught them at the start, so thereâs inconsistencies and misunderstandings or people just not knowing things through no fault of their own.
This ends up breeding frustration and confusion and in the worst cases resentment, hurt, and aggression.
Iâm severely tempted to make such a handbook and get it circulating.
Its a shard. Not a meteorite, not some big rock, a shard. Sure itâs mega durable and with a little work could be quite sharp, but still a shard. After actually excavating it out of the surrounding material it ended up being a bit smaller than the length of her hand. Enough for a small knife.
Now Elena knows sheâs not exactly skilled. Shes an apprentice not a journeyman or master, and to a blacksmith to boot, not some grand weapons maker. Most of her time is spent making nails and doing repairs for the various farm equipment thats used in the surrounding area.
But this star shard⊠it calls to her. She doesnât start crafting with it right away, no it stays wrapped up in some old rags for the time being. When she asks for some tips, her master givers her an odd look and a short lecture about how they were blacksmiths none of those fancy artisans, but with a little bit of explanation he relents shares what he knows.
Thereâs a lot of mess at first. Metal mangled so poorly itâs tossed back into the scrap heap to be melted down again. As she gets better however, she ends up with a few pieces to sell at market for the occasional buyer.
Elena knows itâs time now. Working the fire just so, the already incredible sheen of the shard takes on an unworldly glow, fitting for something from a star. And with many hours of work, carefully following steps that sheâd practiced hundreds of times, she finished the blade quenching it and letting it cool.
Next came the polishing and honing. Again she was ready, carefully sharpening the blade from the coarsest stone to the scrap of silk that she had managed to get her hands on. Finally the blade was finished.
It gleamed in the light, almost seeming to have a glow from within, and was mounted on a sturdy handle made to fit her hand perfectly.
And oh, what a fine knife it was, able to spread anything perfectly across toast or bread. No matter how cold the butter was it wouldnât tear the bread. No matter how thick the crust of bread was, it cut neatly and without tearing. Truly a knife worth treasuring.
No one, at all, on TikTok has permission to rip any of my prompts.
I understand that as I do not own the characters in those prompts I do not have the right to copyright strike them, but I will consider it a form of harassment.
It's getting to the point that I'm considering stopping writing fanfic altogether in favor of focusing on original works I CAN copyright strike your asses for.
The reason for my issues with it is simple; I don't own those characters. DCU and Nickelodeon do.
You're using my posts (and others) to artificially raise your follower count so you can open a TikTok affiliate shop.
By using those posts to boost your numbers and make money, you're tying my name, my fanworks, to income based off of characters copyrighted by very big companies.
That puts me at risk of being slapped with a lawsuit, even though I'm not actually making money from it. Lawyers could argue that I was complicit.
Could I get out of that lawsuit? Yes, after money I don't have gets spent on taking it to court to argue that my shit was ripped. Which I don't want to do, because again, money I don't have.
For my own safety, it might be better for me to stop considering it and just not post anything prompt or fic related on tumblr anymore.
But I'm going to start covering my bases instead, because I do like the tumblr community, cursed as it is.
I'm gonna have to go by the early 2000s rules on fanfiction.net; every single fanfic or fanprompt will be heralded with "I DO NOT OWN THESE CHARACTERS OR THEIR WORLDS. I DO NOT INTEND TO MAKE MONEY WITH THIS POST. IF THIS POST IS ON TIKTOK I DID NOT CONSENT TO THAT. IF THIS DISCLAIMER IS MISSING THEN THE POST WAS EDITED TO NEGATE IT.".
So fuck you very much fly_cattt and all others like you, thieving pieces of shit that you are.
Same!!!!! Iâve always disliked any of the ai reading posts on any site (TikTok,YouTube) because they are making money is an âeasyâ way by ripping off everyone.
Personal writing, especially fanfiction, has to be free with no one making money from it otherwise it is a huge lawsuit.
I canât remember her name but back in the early 2000s a lot of works were being copyright stricken because the owner of the work hated fanfic and almost ruined it for everyone thatâs why we have Ao3 now to stop that and protect writers.
But tumblr has nothing protecting us besides the regular copyright laws so having anyone posting them on another platform to generate revenue is dangerous.
And going back to writing on every work âwe donât own the characters or showâ is going back to early writings of works to not get sued. Even though it is almost guaranteed that none of the fanfic writers own the show/characters, itâs the only way to protect ourselves from prosecution.
Especially because we write fics for ourselves and others to enjoy and we do not want that to go away.
So if you see any of my prompts on TikTok then block the channel please! Do not give any watch time to these people.
If you do this with my fics, or anyone's fics, please know I HATE you. I hate you more than every troll comment, every "your writing sucks kys" comment, every "update soon" comment. I hate you. Other authors hate you. If you want my fic, you either WAIT for it or you pay me for it. And if you won't do one of those things, you don't deserve my fic or anyone else's.

The head operatives of the GIW create a secure message chat to discuss the future plans after having successfully capturing the menace Phantom⊠not realizing they added reporter of the Daily Planet Clark Kent to the group chat.
That and when Lois finds out after Clark is unsuccessfully assassinated by a GIW sniper because the bullet just bounces off of him? Oh sheâs pissed. He has the scoop of the century and didnât tell her, his wife, and now she owes him $50 now for getting the CIA award before him. Heâs sleeping on the couch tonight.
Alternate POV chapter of Jimmy Olsen being given the task to gain photo evidence and getting accidentally roped into some absolutely wild shenanigans, stumbling into liberating an entire damn facility all by himself and taking some beautifully criminalizing photos of the GIW along the way.
I am CACKLING this is hilarious and legit the perfect plot for a fic. I would read fifty yes please and thank you.
The Jimmy side plot is essential. Every time he tags along to take pictures he gets his own wild adventure. Sometimes he gets transformed or teleported or rescues a princess.
I propose this time Jimmy gets get the Pulitzer for the very first non-fuzzy picture of the ghost zone. Itâs because he uses an old film camera that belonged to an old uncle that died in the same room it was stored, so itâs got natural ecto radiation imbued in the lenses or something.
And while sprinting through the GIW base (got separated from Clark) heâs snapping pictures of all the horrifying things the government has done to these beings - and a portal opens in front of him. Jimmy canât slow down in time so he accidentally tackles Phantom, the ghost hero who came to help because someone somehow (Clark) destroyed the anti-ghost shield around the base.
Phantom and Jimmy fall backward into the ghost zone and Jimmy is still snapping pictures like crazy while this kid starts yelling and asking questions and then shoves him back through the portal. Phantom goes off to fight and help save ghosts with Superman (when did he get here? where is Clark?) and Jimmy changes out the roll of film for a new one to keep going.
Once the day is saved and heâs back in his dark room developing film he finds crisp clear photos of a very different dimension.
Meanwhile Clark is pouting while sleeping on the couch.
Jimmy's photos are studied and scrutinized by scientists for years after they were taken.
Can you imagine the elation Perry White would have upon seeing the photos? They were sitting on an absolute goldmine. He gives Kent permission to only focus on this assignment and nothing else. He wants that front page story and he wants it by the end of the week.
It gives Clark (and Superman) perfect time to gather more information on the GIW, the more damning the better.
I adore the angle. Jimmyâs legs. The floating island castle. The ectopus looking curious behind Danny. The little bit of blood (another thing the scientists latch onto because itâs red, unlike the other ghosts found at the base).
Your honor heâs a secret fourth thing and thatâs called Being Jimmy Olsen
I think, in this instance him just being Jimmy is funnier, A regular living human being thrown into the absurdity of the ghost zone with no previous knowledge of it. Jimmy Olsen is an everyman in comics and sometimes just being a normal guy who deals with just completely wild shit is the perfect guy to roll with the punches, now suddenly a knight in a ghost kingdom he knows no customs of or ghost tradition.
I think that Jimmy should be the main character, everything going on with Clark, Lois and the government is happening in the background or secondary to what Jimmy is dealing with
