Because you can't recruit people to willingly jump out of mid-flight passenger planes for science, you redesign the study to engineer a scenario where the risk to the control group is minimsed. The plane is landed.

And then, because you've removed the main reason to use a parachute, you find that parachutes have "no effect" on mortality or injury.

The constraints of performing an ethical RCT guarantee this result. A result that we obviously know is dangerously wrong to extrapolate to the real-life uses of parachutes.

Now here's the thing: The people insisting that "evidence-based medicine" says we need RCTs of trans healthcare know this is what they're doing. It's extremely well established that you can abuse these "standards" to engineer incorrect results.

As in, how would an RCT look like that attempts to create misleading data, when it comes to HRT or trans healthcare in general?

Based on the extreme rates of patient complaints and high rates of patients being traumatized by the clinicians' behaviour, that is.

but you can also do the exact same thing to just manipulate health data around a treatment regime;

restrict access to it as much as possible to reduce total number of people who you can point to and say "these people got the treatment and it worked for them", which alone allows random statistical noise to be a bigger component of results (imagine one person in a study of 10 people gets run over, deliberately evil study writers can then say "1 in 10 people died during this study" where they'd have to say 1 in 10,000 if 10,000 people were in the study and the outlier was infinitely more obvious - small numbers are an evil statician's best tool)

But if that doesn't work, you can also make access to a treatment sporadic and infrequent, which will in most cases completely nullify the treatment's effectivement - You can still say "X number of people recieved this treatment and it showed poor or no results" even if they were being shunted off the treatment 3 shots out of every 4 they needed

You can also fuck around with dosage - use high dosage animal models to say "this substance is dangerous" without mentioning what dosage was used, paracelsus' 15th century statement "the dose makes the poison" be damned, and then use that as an excuse for excessive testing of people receiving treatment and tighter controls over allowable dosage, which again allows you to create a group of people who "received treatment" but at dosages below where you'd expect results to be achieved at

Illegalisation combined with heavy restrictions on access to legal treatments also helps because it creates a black or grey market for treatments, which will inevitably have exactly the same sort of contamination issues that ordinary medical supply chains do, but black and grey markets obviously can't be government tested to catch problems earlier in the supply chain, nor can recalls on defective or contaminated batches of medicine be done as well as they would if fully legalised - then the government can point to the negative effects experienced in the grey and black markets as an additional reasons to illegalise and restrict legal access

He has stated that he is letting 'the people' judge his actions and implied that if he wins that will prove that he has been exonerated in the court of public opinion

His goal was presumably to get a big resounding win over the other parties, proving that The People still love him.

the other parties have thus far decided that this is a 'vanity election' and, well, there is one very easy way to ensure that he will not beat any of them, and that is simply not to play.

and as a result the only person who has so far confirmed they are running against him is Count Binface. no matter the outcome this makes Nigel Farage look like, u know, a fucking clown.
