bisexual and pansexual mean the same thing, some ppl are just personally more comfortable with one term than the other. everyone who tries to argue that they mean different things either 1) says theyre the same thing but with different wording (ex. “bi is attraction to your gender and other genders, pan is attraction to all genders”) or 2) has a transphobic or biphobic definition (ex. “bi means attracted to 2 genders”, “pan people are attracted to hearts not parts”, etc)
