This may be derivative and not exactly original but I thought about making my interactive story be about a group of college students who were friends in highschool and moved back to their hometown during summer and one of them goes missing mysteriously but what they don't know is one of their other friends is secretly possessed/inhabited by a somewhat malevolent deity known as the lord of the deep and they are secretly involved in not only that but many other disappearances

I had an idea I think might be cool where it's a interactive story and the choices are hyperlinks that take you to different chapters based on what you choose, it may take a while to write all three versions for each option but it's not much different from what multiple ending indie game devs do, so it's probably manageable, I'm not sure how I'll make it work

As he peered into that green hell he understood that the dank and humid grasping tendrils did not grasp out in malice, but out of desperation, that it never chose to be this way but rather gained such impotence and greed in the way a child inherits it's mother's addiction to a substance, to be weaned is to be loved, cared for. But to be starved is to be given mercy perhaps, to never know is to never bleed, and to never bleed is to never understand, and the grasping pleading thing perhaps never understood nor bled.

I don't know if I can explain this in a concise way, and I worry that I will sound mayhaps like I am simply delusional, but I do believe in reincarnation and I do feel it is the truth of our existence that the soul is repurposed beyond the destruction of our physical bodies, however, I have always felt this deep gnawing feeling within me that this may be my last life where I carnate into this world specifically, and it makes me deeply emotional, that I may never experience this world specifically again, that it may be destroyed and with it we will be never exist the way we do now again, and it doesn't mean we will end, but this, everything, the human condition, will not be something that is experienced again, I have tried to tell myself this fear is unfounded and that I have no reason to believe it, but when i read about ai and the plans created by the government it makes me wonder if I am right, and that idea makes me deeply emotional, it is deeply upsetting, what's worse is that I consider myself to have very strong intuition, I am very often right about people at least, and sometimes events, I hope this is all just a response to fear mongering, but I suppose I'll never know.

So like my fan theory on how my dmc oc cassian and vergil met is that because cassian can access different states of being in-between living and dead he could sense vergils consciousness while he was trapped within nelo angelo, and communicated with this fragment of his consciousness, but I find this kind of funny because this would suggest cassian was making time everyday to go basically astral project in private to go talk to this technically dead guy he doesn't even know what looks like
