what if i was someone else?
spent forever sketching and drawing this thing and i hate it
but thats okay because i am reteaching myself how to draw them so i can just fix it tomorrow with new eyes and an idea for the next part of it

i know this is irrational, but i always get jealous when i see idols have celebrations for their birthdays. not only are their friends celebrating their birthdays with them, but they have tons of fans wishing them happy birthday, doing projects. of course, most of that is parasocial and it's not the same as a friend wishing them happy birthday.
but as someone who doesn't have a big circle, i do get jealous. usually i just have dinner with my parents and then receive a couple of texts. not even my own sibling remembers to text every year.
i note all of my friends' birthdays down and wish all of them happy birthday. i hope that it kind of opens a conversation and that it'll open the door to us hanging out, but it never happens and now it feels like it will never happen.

My nephew was born today's. I met him an hour ago and im not ashamed to admit I cried holding him for the first time. It was weird cause I dont even like kids but I did cry. I've never gotten so quickly attached to a baby before. Apparently whenever I held him and was talking my mom noticed he'd open his eyes and look at me and my heart swelled hearing that. I love him so much <3
