every time someone realizes they dont have to pick between being a boy or a girl an angel gets its wings btw. and also extremely loud cheering can be heard in the distance from me specifically

given the current climate this pride especially i feel i must mention that i love my trans friends, i stand with trans people in the fight against transphobic legislation and those who would enforce it, and this blog is not a good place for you to be if you do not vibe with that

I've been a woman so long it's not even special anymore. my gender isn't a performance people just see a woman in pants and a bomber jacket. I don't think about whether I pass or not, I never wear makeup, it's been years since i had bottom surgery. I can't remember the last time my gender came up in a therapy appointment. people don't even ask me about being trans anymore they just ask if I'm emo

Eventually you settle into being a woman so effectively that people stop caring. when you're still figuring shit out it's like people can't tear their eyes away, they're always asking invasive questions, poking and prodding. but one day it just stops. you're not a spectacle anymore, you're not a weird freak, you're not special. you're just some chick. and people stop paying attention

People are unfazed if you hate women but if you dislike dogs they assume you're a bad person
