I just defeated the Elite Four and Champion in Pokémon: Crystal

This is a really exciting moment for me. Crystal was the first Pokémon game I ever played, back in 2018 when my dad, my brother, and I all bought it from the Virtual Console on the 3DS Eshop

Though this wasn’t my original save file I beat the game with; a year or so ago I started a new game because back in 2018 I didn’t actually know anything about how the mechanics of Pokémon games worked (at that point I had only watched the anime and played Pokémon Go), and so when I got back into playing Crystal, I figured it’d be better to start over from the beginning of the game and play though it all with the knowledge of the series I’ve gained in the past few years
