Humongous Fungus

Anyone with a name that starts with a “Z”, ends with an “i”, and isn’t some kind of Italian pasta, IS SERIOUS

An unidentified deceased cosplayer was found in the Rhine on June 2nd, 2026. They appear to have been either a trans woman or a crossplayer and may have been the victim of a hate crime.

Police need your help identifying them!

Identifying information:

Sex: male

Apparent age: 20 - 30

Appearance: female appearance with long hair, skirt and painted fingernails, red earrings, silver ring

Height: 180 cm

Clothing: two jackets (beige and black) t-shirt with manga figure, short skirt with white belt, black leggings

Hair color: brown

Eye color: brown

Body type: Slim

Tattoos include (but are not limited to): Black & white tattoos of Alastor from Hazbin Hotel, a Grief Seed from Madoka Magica, Meroko from Full Moon wo Sagashite in rabbit form, and the girl from Missing Halloween.

They also had facial tattoos and a lip piercing. They may have been cosplaying as Homura Akemi from Madoka Magica.

Pictures of the deceased & their tattoos are available, but be warned that the images are graphic.

Und ein CW: Das erste Bild auf der Polizei NRW Seite, die OP hier verlinkt, ist eine Nahaufnahme vom Gesicht der verstorbenen Person. Die anderen Bilder sind von den Tattoos, zusammen mit verheilten SV-Narben.

Hier noch ein Foto in Homura Akemi cosplay. Fotograf hat mit der Polizei gesprochen und es konnte bestätigt werden, dass es sich um die selbe Person handelt. Fotograf konnte ebenfalls bestätigen, dass sie sichtbare Piercings hatte.

Viele von uns erwarten bei den Worten "Gesicht einer toten Person" ein Bild von einem silbernen Pathologietisch wie vom Fernsehkrimi und das wäre schon hart genug.

Es handelt sich hierbei aber um ein Foto, das anscheinend direkt nach Fund und am Fundort gemacht wurde. D.h. die Person ist weder sauber gemacht worden, noch liegt der Körper auf dem Rücken, und das Haar ist nicht aus dem Gesicht entfernt, noch die Augen geschlossen. Es lässt sich ein Außengelände erkennen.

part of my role is going to people and gently saying "hey please stop taking photos of people without their consent. that can be dangerous for the people in the photos and you were asked not to at the start of the rally/march" and I have had people threaten to punch me over it so........

just stop taking photos. I don't care if they're "just for you" or if you "plan to redact them" you have no idea what situation someone is in and your photos will never be secure. if you want to take a photo just ask people in it first.

and of course they're always like "well what about those people taking photos" and I explain that "those people are known to our community and know who does and doesn't want a photo. people have already consented or not consented at past events to that person's photos and they know this" or "thanks for pointing that out I will talk to them too because they also should not be taking photos." this also, of course, does not solve the conflict and they continue taking photos anyways.

I have my own tactics for stopping photos when someone refuses that don't involve smashing cameras but they tend to escalate things anyways.

Don't post online about what protests you plan to attend.

Be safe. Be smart. Don't fall for the weird pressure to liveblog political actions when we live in a surveillance state.
