Medication is so annoying. I don’t want to get up so I can take more ibuprofen because the cramps are starting up. I want to take 100 pills of Tylenol and 100 pills of Motrin at the beginning of any given cycle and then be good for like three months. Or one month! Or one week! It doesn’t have to be an efficient usage of the medication if it means I don’t have to think about it at all for a bit. That would be nice. But unfortunately this kills you. Yet another example of how the science engages in a constant conspiracy to make you get up out of bed just when the nap was getting good.

my dad is very intensely involved a battle with his city’s public administration over a playground they have tried to forcibly remove like five times in the past 20 years and DID remove once in like 2005 but then had to rebuild because my dad was such a pain in their asses and came through with undeniable receipts of the zoning plan from the 60s/the historic/cultural value of the urban planning…. like there’s a woman in the city office who is his arch nemesis. he is literally the daredevil of urban planning

I saw on insta this morning a reel of a woman who's been hosting a dinner party for friends for the past two years show snap shots of the parties each month for the last year. and I'm interested in that in general, I'd like to start hosting more. so I go into the comments and there are just some rank ass ppl saying things like "oh so you're rich rich" and "some of us don't have money." Is it fun living so miserably?

maybe im too broke but if you can afford to host a dinner party every month thats fucking rich, unless you're hosting a potluck, dinner parties are fucking expensive

so what? not everyone has the fucking means to throw fancy ass dinner parties constantly, some of us are fuckin suffering.

yeah but like why is that relevant to someone posting their dinner party. it has nothing to do with you.

you're the one criticizing poor folks for being irritated that the rich can flaunt their wealth for everyone to see constantly. if you wanna have a nice thing with friends thats fine but its for a group chat, not the public internet. rich folks need to quit showing off.
