Vigilantes Blogpost #1 - 10/08/26
Hi! My name is Craic, and for the longest time I've wanted to make a story about a ton of my OCs called Vigilantes! I've recently started taking development more seriously, so I decided to start writing blogposts about the project! Maybe I'll keep up with these, maybe I won't lol
Vigilantes is the story of Hilt, a warrior with a sword that glows with incredible power when he gets angry. Hilt must learn to process his anger, instead of losing control when it takes over. The concept art shown above sees Hilt lose control, and barrel over people to chase down a hated enemy.
Vigilantes is currently envisioned as a webcomic of roughly 25 issues or episodes. This is not my full ambition for these character's stories, but is a complete arc, and is easier to grapple with compared to looking at the entire thing at once.
Most of the 25 Issues have their rough pitches figured out, figuring out the who, what, when, where and why. Many issues will be episodic, but their development and small status quo changes will be important for the entire story, so please don't skip anything!
Shown below are the synopses for the first couple of issues.
These issues will be about 20 pages. I hope I can convey the stories with enough depth in this amount of time! I'm honestly not so sure.
