Do I have a plot? No?

Is it kind of there? Maybe.

There is a prologue. I an winging the fuck out of this. Yes its gonna be DC. I'm thinking I have them as separate works that work on their own but like take place in the same world- or at least function with the same rules.

Very cool. Very doomed lovers. Very doomed world. Dunno if I want there to be hope yet, probably for the rest of the world maybe. Definitely like not north or south America I think. (Not because I hate them but I'd find it a bit difficult to spread it farther given my infections start point.)

Wondering if Danny phantom should be in this for the giggles of it all. Just because, why not yk? (<- a man whose never watched Danny phantom.)

I want them to grieve. I want to write horrors and poke at their brains to explore their complex humanity. What do you do when the world ends? A bunch of people are like "Yeah I'd live. Built different fr." But thats not really up to you. It's luck. Thats it.

Plain. Dumb. Luck.

THEN any skills you have come into effect. And additionally depending on the type of zombie or spread etc. It's pretty hard for it to advance to the scale we see in a lot of movies and stuff.

And for people who dont think they would make it past hour two or something- its luck!! Like my hunting skills don't matter if I happened to be in the mall that was ground 0.

You might even live past the first wave and be like 🧍‍♂️"Yeah yk what maybe I'll try to make it out" even though you thought you'd die first. Like I think a lot of strength comes from the desperation to see a familiar face. The love that makes us strong even when we are faced with terrible things.

Like if I write a character the way they'd react would like of flow naturally I think. Some may lose hope, stare down at their rotting city from a rooftop of their apartment in listlessness. I think one or two would obsess with finding their loved one until the very end, or perhaps if they are lucky and find them- then holding onto them. Some might just keep surviving for the sake of it. Like seeing death suddenly cease to be a rule of existence might make one afraid of dying.

Additionally!!! Who gets paranoid?? Shuts the world out and hides away, surviving because it's all they know how to do. Maybe they lost someone. Maybe they watched people they love turn into these creatures that wear their face, that groan with what was once their voice. Who watches, maybe loves someone from a distance, someone who is no longer there?

Everyone wants to give those they love a final rest, to put them at ease- in theory in these scenarios. The strength it would take is astronomical, the mental scarring it would leave permanent.

Originally this was a very short post but then I kept talking. I think to some degree seeing the ideas presented in zombie stage sparked some of this. Speaking of which watch it,,, sick n twisted. Anywayssss
