What was your gay awakening and for my aroace people what made you realize you didn’t feel little to no attraction.
I’m asexual and (maybe) aromantic.
I always had “crushes” on fictional characters, but those were more of “man, that character is good-looking” or “I want to be their friend so bad.”
As far as crushing on my peers goes, I pretty much never experienced that. However, it wasn’t until a few years ago that I learned there was a word for it.
Additionally:
- The reason I’m not sure I consider myself aromantic is because part of me likes the idea of being in a romantic relationship. However, so far I haven’t found anyone I like that way.
- Since I learned what sex is, I’ve never been interested in having it. The same goes for having kids. If I ever become a parent, it’ll be by adoption.
- I don’t have a gender preference when it comes to potential relationships.
- Younger me categorized people my age (that I knew) as either “friends,” “acquaintances,” or “annoyances.” Most girls were friends. Most boys were either acquaintances or annoyances, and thus not suitable to date. (At the time, I didn’t know about the LBGTQ community.)
- I’m still figuring out who I am in regards to being queer— both in the LGBTQ way and in the “peculiar/unusual” way.

I think there's something incredible about humanity's fascination with space. We've been staring at the night sky for longer than we had a name for it. We've been telling stories of what might be up there for millennia. When you ask a kid what they want to be when they grow up, Astronaut is the stereotypical answer. We spend absurd amounts of money just to figure out what's up there. When the Mars Rover Opportunity died, the entire world cried.

All Might calls NB people 'kiddo' instead of 'young man' or 'young lady.' He respects pronouns ofc
Oboro is really into film, especially pre-quirk era
Kurogiri is *also* really into film, but... can't remember why
Oboro planned Mic and Aizawa's wedding before either of them realised they had a crush on the other
Aizawa actually prefers his coffee very sweet, but has learned to tolerate it as black no sugar because people just assume he likes it that way, and he'll take the caffeine where he can get it
Kaminari plays video games with the LoV, especially Shigaraki; this doesn't impact their hero/villain work, because they both use online aliases (because Denki is a minor, so shouldn't share his name and Kurogiri insisted Shigaraki do the same as a kid and he never changed it)
Midoriya is a DC/Marvel fan - specifically Batman and Ironman, because they both fight without quirks and have really cool support gear
Tokoyami is into Tarot cards
Kaminari is really into horror games, which is surprising to everyone, because he gets scared so easily elsewhere (which is actually a valid reaction, considering they literally get ATTACKED BY VILLAINS-) In reality he'll play everything and anything, except Subnautica, because he has severe Thalassophobia
- Iida had medical trauma from Tensei's hospitalisation (it's practically canon, and I need more people to talk about it) After the summer camp, all he could think about was Tensei when Midoriya ends up in the hospital
- Shigaraki has a vitamin D deficiency, which is one of the reasons he has mood swings; this isn't from some angsty illness, he just never touches grass because he's busy playing League of Legends
- Dabi has a low alcohol tolerance, and weak immune system in general. He's being held together by staples, he has medical issue
- Kirishima stole bubblegum from the counter when he was five and still feels guilty about it, even though his mum made him take it back
- Ectoplasm and Aizawa both enjoy taxes; Ectoplasm because its maths and Aizawa because its logical and rational
- Dabi hacks his stats in every video game he plays, purely to annoy Shigaraki
