i think if you showed minecraft or fortnite to a little medieval peasant boy he would probably start writing parodies of church hymns. it’s human nature
this has rendered me speechless
pillows have stopped having a cold side some time ago
what if it was called magic the slathering and it was about lotions and ointments
Male Fig beetle — Cotinis mutabilis! I love his little face so much. 🥺💚✨
I’ve been messing with the settings on my OM TG7, can’t say I’m too happy with today’s results but practicing has been fun!

what do you mean my disability disables my abilities? what the fuck
I live a very balanced life of noticing things nobody else does and not noticing the things that literally everybody notices
having a headache while hydrated is so unfair. you were supposed to protect me.
How very depressing that Neil Gaiman had trended not even a tiny bit for demonstrating what a fucking horrific person he is.
As a reminder, he's suing Caroline Wallner, one of his accusers, for breaking her NDA. Not for libel. He's saying she shouldn't have told anyone about it, not that she lied.
The author says Wallner broke her NDA by sharing her story with the media, including with New York Magazine.
He doesn't need the money. He's risking the Streisand effect. He is punishing Caroline, he's trying to intimidate other victims who have signed NDAs to scare them into continued silence.
He is no friend to women, to the LGBTQIA+ community, to anyone quite frankly unless he thinks they are of value to him.
Share the story. Put it on Facebook and bluesky and whatever else you're on. Make it clear what a horrifying person he is. Tell your friends. He's paying Edendale a fortune to try and cover this up. Make this hard for him. Make it cost him money.

pheromones aren't real. sweat is just that good.
as a child there's nothing cooler than a kid who gets subjected to evil experiments and gains special abilities. it's even cooler if these abilities also cause unfathomable suffering to use/against others. children love stories like this.
The children yearn to be Mewtwo
This is so important.
My online shop is open this week! ✨
If anyone is interested in getting prints directly from me, I am doing a limited signed giclée print run of four of my most loved recent illustrations. They'll all be hand-signed, titled and numbered by me in pencil and some of my art books and original drawings are also up in the shop.
To avoid waste, I'm going to print in batches so this time please get your orders in by the 22nd July, they'll be shipped by August 3rd.
Sadly I can only ship original artwork (not prints or books) to the EU at the moment, but regular prints are available on my INPRNT too if that's a better option for some. 🌸
Thank you for all the support on recent works! Very grateful and I enjoy all your fun and lovely comments ❤️
Please get any last orders in before Thursday, thank you! <33

"I can't believe humans would hunt the thylacine to extinction, humans are fundamentally evil" Hey, did you know that extinction was long thought to be impossible, and within 50 years of humans realizing that extinction via overhunting was a possibility it practically stopped happening? Did you know that humans are so desperate to prevent more losses that they're funneling millions of collective hours and billions of euros into helping other species? Hours and euros that could be spent on humans, being spent on species on whom humanity's own survival does not depend? Did you know that due to an accidental introduction of rats, the Lord Howe Island stick insect population was brought down to 24 individuals and now there are tens of thousands of them?
This bug. This bug that, to most humans, is utterly useless, relatively gross, and completely foreign. Humans saved it because humans do not want to cause another extinction ever again if they can avoid it.
I feel like you'd have some interesting thoughts about the bomb that blew up Harvey's casino in the 80s
Oh fuck do I ever-
This whole entire affair has fascinated me for ages because, to be frank, this device was an absolute masterpiece. For those ignorant:
This thing approached levels of complexity usually reserved for atomic devices. The FBI themselves say as much and they're the ones who managed to induce a high-order detonation in the thing by trying to separate the detonator and payload with a shaped charge. Which, to be fair, was the only viable approach for a device like this.
They had detailed and advance warning of what would cause a detonation, which covered basically every non-destructive approach at disarming the thing. And with a note and a device like that, you tend to take it at face value. I can't rightly say I would have done anything differently.
The authorities, in this case, took what they perceived to be the approach that would put the fewest people in harm's way. And they were right! No one died, leaving only (albeit sizeable) property damage. Lowering property values along with the mean elevation above sea level of a town by means of a crater is preferable to picking up body parts in my estimation.
They still use a replica of the thing for training. It's a lesson of what a determined attacker with a lot of time and resources can achieve.
