Let’s say you have a badass job. A great job. You make $100 AN HOUR. You work 10 hours a day ($1000 A DAY), 5 days a week ($5000 a week!!!), every week ($20,000 A MONTH), thats $240,000 Every Year.

You want to make one billion in a human lifetime? If you made $10,000 an HOUR, 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, every week, all year, it would take you 41 years to hit a billion.

(And that’s not counting, ya know, money you spend to stay alive on food or rent or anything. )

we see steve take the stones back. we linger on the tesseract. he’s back in the 70s. he knows peggy is there. 

he goes back to her office and places his hand on the doorknob. through the window he can see her busy on the phone. she’s right there and all he has to do is go inside and talk to her. he can have that life he missed out, he can go back even further if he wants. he controls his future. 

but then a man comes up. he introduces himself as daniel sousa. he’s got his kids in tow. steve greets him and moves aside. they go in and he sees peggy’s face light up. it’s her family, coming to visit her. she’s clearly happy, she’s in love with her husband. steve watches for a few seconds and then gives a small smile. that’s her future. it’s time to make his own. 

he comes back to sam and bucky. they comment they were worried he might not come back. steve laughs it off. 

“what do we do now?” sam asks.
