One suggestion to make this mend last longer is to fix the hole first, for example by sewing on a small patch on the back or by darning it, and then adding the embroidery on top.

Its really, really messed up that the price of video games keeps increasing while people are just accepting the fact that the actual quality of the product is decreasing.

No game has to be released unfinished and broken. The only reason this happens is due to corporate greed and these kinds of horrid business practices shouldn't be excused.

by the way you should know that liability waivers only waive against what is called “ordinary risk”. if you rent some dune buggies and go racing an “ordinary risk” would be “you fall out of the buggy and injure yourself”. however, it’s not a blank check for “anything bad that happens”: if your dune buggy’s engine catches fire and that injures you, that wasn’t an “ordinary risk”. that’s not the kind of risk you signed up for. especially if the engine caught fire because the owner had been negligent in its maintenance.

if you get injured, even if you signed a waiver, talk to a lawyer (consultations are usually free), see what they say. most of the time these companies bank on people not even trying to fight back.
