a couple notes:

i think the face mutation for simon is "retractable" i.e. he can bring it out/fade it away mostly on command

however i haven't decided if it comes with some sort of bonus mutated treelike/fishy replacement for the missing arm (which would also be "retractable" for lack of a better term... maybe it hurts to use and that's why he wouldn't have it out all the time?)

honestly i think my ideal form for grace's fox cardigan would be a repeating pattern of foxes on a cream bg that the cardigan shape just masks off like the patterns in chowder

I'm imagining someone doing some blood tests, trying to see what type he is, and it's just a mix of all of them. Every test and antigen goes positive, even the statistically unlikely combos.

For context in blood banks, when we do blood types, we use a reagent that will clump certain blood types, so for example if you use 'Anti-A antisera' on some A-type blood, it should clump and indicate they are that type. Same logic for B-type and anti-B, and O doesn't react to either anti-A or anti-B. AB blood reacts to both antisera. (Blood types are much more complicated and diverse than just A, B, and O but I'm not gonna get into that.)

This means if an A-type person gets transfused with O-negative (universal donor), you can usually tell through the lab tests because only some of the red cells will react to the antisera. We call that mixed field, and it goes away in about 3 months.

What if after 3 months-- the approximate life cycle of red cells-- Simon's blood remains completely mixed field?
