Queer Christians are a small, niche minority in a religion that has been and frankly always will be against them. Treating them as a serious cohort of Christianity exaggerates their power / position in the wider religion.

Genuinely what are you talking about??? Of course we should treat queer Christians seriously, because there are A LOT OF THEM. Also there are so many Christians that support queerness and are progressive. (Every single one of my grandparents, for example)
