ppl will be like “why do the social media marketing graphics for this book tell me nothing about the book except that it has fanfic tropes or that it’s gay or whatever” and it’s like babes……that’s what the b&n/amazon/whatever retailer webpage for the book is for……..the instagram graphics are just there to get your attention and make you aware of the book. the retailer page has a detailed 3-paragraph description of the book complete with author blurbs and lists of awards it’s won or been nominated for. but no one is going to read those 3 paragraphs if they’re posted to instagram. because that’s not what instagram is for

i am always hearing about my friend spending time with our other friends but we spend time together so rarely and i can’t stand it. i invite her to things and she doesn’t come. like what should i even do at this point. should we just stop being friends? it hurts me so much. and i don’t understand it because when we do spend time together we get along like a house on fire. but it happens maybe once every two, three, four months. i just don’t understand and it hurts me
