#yeah sorry but i worked with someone like this years ago and it was the mostttttttt infuriating situation #the bosses hired her #she struggled through training but we figured she'd get the hang of things eventually #nope #a year into working there and you could ask her to do the dishes #and she'd just dump them in the wash sink and walk away #never to return #she never figured out the POS system #every. single. order. she took. had to be corrected.#she could not be trusted to close registers #she somehow could not even sweep properly????#me and several coworkers went to our bosses and were like “hey. this is not working out.”#“working with her is like doing the work of three people while a fourth person actively tries to sabotage us”#and bossman was like damn okay let me work with her #and he did #and reported back that it was indeed a miserable fucking experience #AND THEN SAID #THAT THEY COULDN'T FIRE HER #BECAUSE SUNK COST #they refused to replace her because they'd “already put too much time into training her”#YEAH DAWG I WOULD SAY SO #IT'S BEEN A YEAR AND SHE STILL DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DO SHIT #WE WORK AT A COFFEE SHOP #WE GET PAID TWO FARTS AND A KICK TO THE SHINS #HOW HAVE YOU PUT “TOO MUCH” INTO HER #anyways she was somehow still there when i left that job and to this day i've never had a more miserable coworker experience #i really hope she eventually found something that suited her better #i am so glad i'm not at that job anymore
