it’s so magical and beautiful that there are sprawling interconnected cave systems carved deep into the earth by various geological forces and you don’t have to go in them. there are miles and miles of stone passageways in total darkness that require you to exhale all the air out of your lungs to squeeze through parts of them and you don’t have to be there. some of these squeezes are underwater and require cave divers to take off their oxygen tanks and push them through ahead of them and me i am above ground looking at the sky as we speak. there are untold subterranean wonders no human has ever seen and i will not be the one to discover them #grateful #blessed

Being clocky when i was working as a barista was one of my big joys. Being clocky when i was teaching high schoolers how to play the marimba was my reason for being for half a decade. It sucks how scared I am to leave the house I live in now. But I still need to try and be clocky at the grocery store. I wish i had a job to be clocky at. Being visibly me is one of the most radical acts I'm capable of, and I hope that one day we live in a world where it isn't radical at all.

Something that really helped ground me in my transisition and helped me kill a lot of my dysphoria was getting on tumblr and being exposed to a bunch of girls who were clocky and happy and stuff. A lot of issues of my evaporated when my mental model for trans women went from "pretty women with millions of followers on tiktok and instagram" to "normal women living their lives."

I wouldn't survive without seeing transfems like y'all being openly and proudly yourselves on here. I've learned so much and felt so much pride as a trans woman by seeing others talking about their experiences and advocating for transfeminism. Being closeted, getting to see y'all makes me hopeful for my own future and how things will go for me once I'm in a place that I can be myself. Sincerely, thank y'all.
