Ra's has invented a new tracker, one that tracks Tim's bio-signature, and Tim can only think of one way to dodge the damn thing and finally get some peace.

He doesn't want to be a vampire, that comes with potential madness and too many weaknesses. He doesn't wanna become a zombie, either.
No, he's been researching, and he's pretty sure there's a secret third thing.
Xanthe. Phantom. Plasmius. Wraith. Aurora.
Five beings half dead, half alive, and all of them he was sure were once human.
Xanthe's situation was incredibly unique, and he knew he would never be able to replicate the events that made them what they are.
So he got nosy about Phantom.
He finds out that Phantom was Danny Fenton. Is Danny Fenton. Finds out about the portal his parents were building, how it only worked after an incident that sent Danny to the hospital.
Tim may or may not have stolen the original plans, and seen where the power button is on the damn thing.
Tim dug into Plasmius, found out he was Vlad Masters, and that a smaller, experimental version of that same portal had been involved in his own hospitalization.
He can't pinpoint exactly who Wraith and Aurora are, but they're definitely related to Danny, and therefore had access to that same portal.
So Tim, so fucking tired of slapping assassins aside and desperate for a break, built his own portal, exactly to the specifications of the Fenton blueprints.
He plugs it in, gets it all set up.
Reassures himself, because there's not one, but four case studies that this works.
Steps inside the giant metal arch.
"What are you doing?" Damian's voice cuts through the air, pretending to be haughty but tense with nerves and, dare Tim think it, fear.
"I need a break from your grandfather, Damian. This? This will make him unable to track me anymore."
"Because you will be dead!" Damian shouts, voice cracking. "Step away from the contraption, Timothy!"
"Do you really think I'd build something like this without researching it first?"
"I believe your research is flawed and your rationalization is tainted by lack of sleep," Damian's trying to get closer, slowly, and Tim knows beyond the shadow of a doubt that he's triggered his emergency beacon. "Whatever this does, you should not be inside it when it turns on!"
Tim says nothing, and slaps his hand out on the switch.
So what if Damian is right? Since Ra's has been on his ass he hasn't gotten a full nights sleep in a month. But Tim's like, 98% sure that he's right, and he doesn't wanna drag anyone else into his mess with something he can clearly handle on his own.
He only starts to think that, maybe, possibly, he should have thought things through a bit better when the pain hits him.
An electric current tainted by acid carved it's way through his veins and exploded in his head, and Tim couldn't help but scream.
He was alone in a massive green void, floating, without a pulse, without a single breath.
And he was still fucking tired.
Damian is not doing okay.
He just watched Timothy Drake kill himself, and he'd been unable to stop it.
By the time his father arrives, he's sitting in front of the broken, gutted out monstrosity that his brother had used to do the deed; there is no corpse.
