Research shows that things like genes and hormones in the womb determine gender identity. It’s a physical process that happens during pregnancy, just like growing a heart or lungs.
One major study found that transgender people often have specific versions of genes (like ERα and AR) that change how their bodies process sex hormones. In transgender women, these genes essentially "dial down" masculine development and "dial up" feminine traits in the brain. It's not just one single gene; it’s a group of them working together [this is called "oligogenic"] to shape how the brain perceives itself.
In 2019, scientists looked at the entire genetic code (the "Exome") of transgender individuals. They found 19 specific genes that are responsible for how a brain becomes "male-typical" or "female-typical." The study proved that for trans people, these pathways develop in a way that matches their gender identity, regardless of their physical body at birth. They found thousands of genetic variants that confirm this isn't a "feeling" — it's a literal, physical difference in the estrogen signaling pathways of the brain.
Basically, nature uses a complex "recipe" of DNA and hormones to build a person. For transgender individuals, the "recipe" for the brain’s identity simply followed a different track than the "recipe" for the rest of the body. It’s a documented, biological reality.

You read that correctly: they took money that people had donated to cure cancer, and hired attorneys with it, to sue ANOTHER group of people trying to find a cure for cancer, who, in turn, had to us their donated money to hire their own legal counsel to defend themselves.
My mother died in 1996 from breast cancer. Most cancer charities are scams, in that people throw fancy parties and get rich off them and very little money goes into research or support for patients. My husband used to work for a small credit union. He used to get applications for loans for hearing aids, power wheelchairs, accessible vans, lifts for vans, ramps for houses...
People with huge medical bills usually have lousy credit. Medical bills don't affect credit like other debt, but the pharmacy won't let you leave with your medicine without payment. Need medicine, oxygen, a wheelchair, pants that are accessible and leave you some dignity? Good luck getting out the door without paying something. Makes it harder to make car payments, rent, utilities, healthy foods that you can prepare for yourself.
My husband would come home distraught trying to figure out how to approve a loan for someone who really needs it, but has terrible credit and virtually no means of repayment. Sometimes he could figure something out, sometimes he would recommend another lender who might have other resources, sometimes he had to say no. 4-6 lbs of Hamburger/turkey burger
1 pk onion soup mix OR ranch mix
1 TBs ketchup
1 Tbs spicy brown mustard,
1 Tbs bbq sauce
1 Tbs steak sauce
1 egg
mix, shape into a loaf in a big pan, and bake at 350 for 2 hrs (maybe 2 and a half if you’re feeling dangerous)
You can get almost all of these ingredients at the dollar store, and have leftovers if it’s just you. The leftovers make great tacos if (taco seasoning is also like a dollar). Enjoy your revenge loaf
here’s a mashed potato recipe from my homophobic mother that i swore to never share that would pair perfectly!
(6 servings)
-2lbs red potatoes
-1 cup butter (2 sticks)
-1 cup cream cheese (1 pack)
-Chives (optional)
-Salt & Pepper to taste
1. drop those bad boys (potatoes) in a big ol pot. U don’t even have to chop them just wash them
2. boil til soft!
3. Drain
4. Mash (usually they’re small enough you can use a fork if u don’t have one of those squashers) until its a pretty chunky mix
5. add the other stuff. Keep mashing
I like my mashed potato consistancy more lumpy but its all up to you!! Peel the potatoes or keep them on, it literally makes the creamiest fluffiest mashed potatoes which she always served with the nastiest fuckin meatloaf
