As cool as it would be to have an Uma Musume USA spinoff that covers the Kentucky Derby and other famous American horse races, it's never gonna happen because the creators of Uma Musume have to get permission from the owners of the irl horses to have them appear as Umas in the game. This is a difficult, but feasible task in Japan because things like Idol culture, gacha games, and anime gijinka, if not necessarily held in high regard, are at least established parts of subcultures that are known to be profitable. I cannot imagine the difficulty of convincing, say, a Saudi oil baron or some multimillionaire Kentuckian who wears seersucker suits and talks like Foghorn Leghorn that letting a mobile game company turn their beloved stallions into waifus is somehow a reasonable decision.
