Is there an account where writers can ask research questions about normal everyday life?
Not like actual facts where there are professionals who can answer with universal answers, but just non-writer stuff.
Like how do non-writers write in a diary/journal? Mine is detailed as hell, but Iām not sure if thatās normal or because Iām a writer. Why do non-writers people-watch? I do it to learn about different types of people so I can create different types of characters; Iāve never known a different reason. Do people with hobbies that arenāt typically turned into a career (like people who collect things) stay up during odd hours of the night in order to make time for their hobby?
If thereās already an account like this, please let me know so I donāt steal their thunder. If thereās not, Iām definitely making one and some of yāall should hit me up so we can make a system for it.
The real writer experience is standing in the shower and coming up with the most authentic dialogue with perfect phrasing and raw emotion in your head, then stepping out and drying your hair, putting on some clean pajamas and opening a word document to write down all your perfect ideas only to realize everything has evaporated.Ā
I FEEL CALLED OUT
Never lose a perfect shower line again.*
*Remember to erase promptly if you share a bathroom with anyone.
Iāve used these to outline term papers. nothing like a bath to get your brain to finally kick into gear and figure out your damn thesis
WHAT
Also these handy little guys if you prefer a notepad:
Are you kidding, shower crayons are the BEST when you share a bathroom with other people. When I was in college, we had them and we would use them to carry on philosophical debates, finish song lyrics, get life/writing advice, etc. It was so much fun and I miss it.Ā
Oh my GOD no one told me these existed
Also
God fucking bless the people who made these
WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN THE REST OF THIS POST?!?!
oh this is absolutely happening

As a model myself, I really want to warn people big time about this.
Large name brands will never recruit via Instagram or social media, they will contact your agency to book you!
If you get any DMās from big brands like this especially if they donāt have a checkmark by their name (but donāt count on that either) they are scammers trying to take your money or even worse lead you into sex trafficking.
Stay safe and follow your gut! Never trust any unofficial recruiters!
Coming out of several months of not posting to make sure yāall stay safe!

The only acceptable reason for this is if this character is actually a demon who seduces men and then eats them. [source]

My breasts are nicely separated though they still fight for custody of the children.

You can always tell when itās a man writing a description because they focus oddly on the breasts. There will always be something about breasts and I canāt tell you how many times Iāve read historical or fantasy fiction and they talk about āher breasts hanging freely under her tunicā or what the fuck ever and itās likeā¦women donāt do that? We donāt describe ourselves by saying āI have blonde hair and blue eyes and my breasts hang freely under my tunicā. I kind of feel like we should counter by awkwardly mentioning all male characterās balls in their description. Itās kind of in the same vein.
āI have auburn hair and hazel eyes and my copious nicely separated balls hangs freely under my breechesā

1. Do you use paper and pen, a computer, or a combination?
I kind of use a combination. I usually write my outlines, rough drafts, and extra scenes with paper and pen. If I go beyond the first draft, I do it on a computer. Also, if I post it, I obviously do that on a computer.
2. Do you have any OCs you want to build on? Why?
I donāt have any OCs I want to build on. The answer to question 6 will explain this.
3. What type of character is your favorite to read?
My favorite type of character to read is the one who can make you laugh during a serious scene, whether theyāre trying to be funny or not.
4. What is the hardest type of character to write?
The hardest type of character for me to write are ones with a lot of friends. When I say this, I mean that they donāt just hang out with their circle of 5 (give or take a few) friends. As a contemporaryĀ writer,Ā itās hard for me to remember to accommodateĀ time to all of their friends as one would in real life.
5. Do you have any OCs that you want to kill off? Why?
I donāt have any OCs that I want to kill off because theyāre my friends lol. That and the fact that theyāre mostly teenagers.
6. How do you create OCs? Based off a person? Random thoughts?
Usually, I think of characters before I think of a story. My characters already come to me, fully developed, so I donāt necessarilyĀ ācreateā them, but theyāre not base off of anything. I write them down so other people can see who my characters are, but all of my characters are safe in my head. I donāt know what I would do if I had to sit there and decide every little detail about my characters. Iām so sorry for you guys.
7. Do you have any rituals you go through before writing?
Not really, unless you count procrastinating.
8. Do you have a drink with you when settling down? If so, what is it?
Yes, a bottle of water. I go through at least 9 of those bad boys a day.
9. What AUs do you have going? Are they only going in your head, or are any of them written?
Iām still working on my WIP, Hey Di: Freshman Freakout. I have another idea, but it hasnāt gone anywhere besides the few ideas I have in my head.
10. What character of yours is the most fun to write?
She doesnāt have a story as of right now, but I have a character named Jade that I really enjoy writing. I love how she doesnāt care how people think and just does what she wants to do. I had a story for her in 8th grade, but I donāt like the story anymore, so I trashed the book and am still trying to find a reason to write her again (even if sheās just a side character).
I tag @parisbarnes14, @noodle-writes, and @relatableteenwriter (only if you want to, of course) and anyone else who wants to do this!
1. Do you share your writing with your friends/family?
2. Do you have a specific place where you prefer to write? Where is it?
3. What is your favorite book to movie adaption?
4. Which character of yours do you enjoy writing the most?
5. How many WIPs have you completed?
6. Do you listen to music while you write? If so, what kind?
7. Which genre do you enjoy writing the most and why?
8. How old were you when you started writing?
9. What is/are your favorite book(s)?
10. Do you have a pre-writing ritual?
