Iāve finally gotten around making a proper sheet lining up Marjorie with at least some Lackadaisy characters, those more important to her lore; I did my best to mimic Lackadaisyās style.

Merle Oberon as Lady Blakeney in The Scarlet Pimpernel (1934)
Original character belonging to no fandom in particular, very loosely based off Marjorie but sheās NOT in any way tied to her. Iāve more or less gotten her concept clear in mind and am intentioned on drawing the other orginal characters that orbit around her in my idea, but this or that feature of her may change depending on where my train of thought leads.
Under the cut for time period accurate look inspos.
Iāve made one of these. Am I satisfied with it? Not quite. Am I sick of fussing over it nonetheless? Yes, I am. I think I chose a pinscher mainly because, when I was little, one of my aunts did have one of those; she was named Gaia and I was terrified of her. She once bit me in the buttcheek on an Easter⦠sad short story.
First time drawing an anthro that is not in the form of a cat, hope itās not too skewed.
Had I something in mind for Valentines? Yes. Did I finish it in time? Obviously not, because Iām intrinsecally resistant to deadlines. So for now Iām only posting what I have done up to now, which is just the lineart, and the finished piece could very well come out in June for all I care.

Art dump of stuff I have started in the last few months but will not necessarily finish. Some pieces have a double version or I put both the colored version and only the lineart because I often feel like the latter looks better than the former.
At the end I didnāt redraw it all from scratch but I did do various touch-ups. I discarded the cloche hat option because itās too round a shape for Marjorie. Also the way I had drawn it reminded me more of a bowler hat than anything. Oh, and I am aware green is technically the official color for Lackadaisy character sheets, but boy was it hideous.
