âDo you regret it? No. I don't think that. You jerk. Can you not take it the wrong way? Alright. Forget it. I don't think what I did was a mistake. I just... I... I was justâ Yeah. You don't need to explain. If I said I get it, then I get it. I can tell just from the look in your eyes that you would never hurt me.â
WU (2026) | EPISODE 5
fave things about these scenes Wu ep 5 bc i have to yell about them:
Niran's little sigh when the ritual isn't working after the first couple tries before he steels himself to fully commit (and it works)
product placement break in the middle of the beautiful and serious "so i guess we're soulmates now" conversation lmao
(seriously though this setting is so pretty)
Pete thanking Niran when he very well could have instead been mad at Niran for the whole uh binding-my-soul-without-consent thing
and then immediately taking this opportunity to flirt
followed by basically reciting wedding vows in the dark
"Does this mean... we're sharing a life now? Our fates, our souls, our joys and sorrows..."
anyway yeah 10/10 platonic wedding, no notes
One of the things that I really liked from the episode is how it lead to Pete cleaning up his house. The boxes and the dust in his home was a physical representation of the stagnation in Pete's life.
Watching not only Pete and Niran but his three other friends clean up was so satisfying.
(Also funny because Niran does still own the deed and part of the reason Pete's things were in boxes was because he was always halfway to being kicked out of his house. Pete taking back ownership of the house and asking his sister to move back in despite Niran literally sleeping in his room is such a great indication of where they are in their relationship.)

the thing about growing up with siblings in an abusive household is that ultimately you're each other's jail wardens and whipping boys and that does things to you no matter how much you sincerely love each other and understand why it happened the way it did and wish you could have been big and strong enough to save both of you
it's just inevitably going to be difficult to reconcile the love you feel for the other half of a bear trap clamped around both your legs. is the thing.
After my son left it behind, Derek towed it in, thinking it was probably beyond repair. But then he opened up the hood and he pulled off all the duck tape Stiles had stuck on it. And he managed to fix it. That Jeep, no matter whatâs been done to it, it just keeps running. He could never figure out why it wouldnât break down and stay down.
And I donât think he ever realized that thatâs exactly the way we saw him. I have never seen anyone take that kind of punishment that Derek Hale took, and kept taking, in order to protect the people he loved.
what if we admitted to each other that it's not always really romance that we want. What if we admitted that what we're really craving is intimacy and society taught us romance is the only way to get it.
does anyone else remember when michaels (art supply company) accidentally made omegle again
when they What
michaels added a feature for a while in sept. 2020 where shoppers could ask questions that would be answered live by other shoppers anonymously. which led to some good michaels interactions.

The whole exes niran and sira thing would never have crossed my mind (and to be clear, ship and let ship, I don't care what history y'all wanna make up for them) because to me Sira was a representation of someone who doesn't accept you in a community you have every right to be part of.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Wu is both allegorically and straightforwardly queer. There are queer people who don't accept all queer people. There are cis-gendered queer people who don't accept nonbinary, trans, and generally gender queer folk as part of their community. There are people who don't accept bisexual people, or aro/ace people, or even queer POC. To me, Sira and co were the people in a community (queer or otherwise) that ostracize people from that community because they don't fit the mould.
As a further point on this line of thinking, Niran and Fei both represent those who don't fit the mould of a community they've been a part of since they were kids, or even were born into, and have every right to continue being a part of. Pete represents someone who finds themselves on the edge of a community that could be very good for themâand that they could be very good forâif only the community were less rigid in what they're willing to accept. The rest of their crew as well represent those people on the edge of a community, be they cast offs or those who accidentally find themselves there or people who didn't quite succeed in joining the community.
The evil forces that youâve encountered, felt, and still touched by, transfer them to me. Just transfer them all to me. I donât know if it works since Iâm no Wu. I just donât want you to carry it alone.
