idk i think alice is a good example about how everyone likes the idea of a character whose funny or sarcastic to cope until its actually an unhealthy coping mechanism. believe it or not alice’s funnyness is entertaining but pathological! she has a problem with not being honest! characters are not meant to be perfect angels and thats why these characters are compelling. like in tma, they all kinda suck in how they treat each other, and if they havent yet they probably will
