I just feel like if anyone could be a werewolf it would be me. I just feel like i’d be really good at it and it would make me happy.
your twenties are not "late" to start hrt. that is a normal time to start hrt. your thirties are also a normal time to start hrt. your seventies are pretty late to start hrt, but not too late. like, statistically, that's at the end of the curve. but if you are not dead, it is not too late for hrt.

the hottest part of sex is when i take off my glasses and put them in a safe place
everytime I hear about children of the corn I think about the guy I met at comic con who actually lived in the town they filmed that movie at, and on the farm where they filmed in the corn. he was a teenager at the time and him and his friends would get drunk on moonshine and rustle the corn and let the air out of the tires of the production team’s trailers and shit. and now there’s Wikipedia pages about how the children of the corn set was haunted and they thought they angered god but it was really just drunk hillbillies
how to solve a rubik’s cube a gay valentine’s/anniversary comic about trying to impress a boy (my now boyfriend) [rbs&follows>likes]
the way this notion lives in my head rent free
we always joke about how some couples “invented romance” but DIDN’T THEY THOUGH
“Love doesn’t just sit there, like a stone, it has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made new.” – Ursula K. Le Guin
like!!!
[ID: first image is text reading "Do all lover feel like they're inventing something?"
second image is a gif of Ted Danson from the tv show The Good Place subtitled "If soulmates do exist they're not found, they're made. People meet, they get a good feeling and then they get to work, building a relationship."
third image is text reading "The less love you put into things the more they resemble one another. The same goes for stories, everyone knows them by heart, but when someone tells them with love, I don't know, they seem new... that's what I think anyway. -Andrés Neuman, Traveler of the Century (trans. Nick Caistor & Lorenza Garcia)"
fourth image is text reading "... I feel a stupefying pressure under my skin... I want to pierce everything and penetrate as far down as possible. I want to reach the depths of the earth. My love is there, in the place where seeds grow green and roots reach one another, and creature perpetuates itself amidst decay. It's as if my body is a temporary and transient form of it. I want to reach its source. I want to hang my heart like a ripened fruit on all the branches of the trees. -Forugh Farrokhzad, from letter to Ebrahim Golestan, Another Birth and Other Poems, tr. Hasan Javadi and Susan Sallée"
fifth image is an anonymous tumblr ask reading "romance is a form of creativity. it is the ability to see the potential for beauty in the everyday. freezing flowers in ice so they release floral notes as they melt; learning to draw; taking the scenic way-- these acts ask us to leave behind the pragmatic and pay attention to the fanciful, the sensory. in a world devoted to efficiency and pro-ductivity, living with romance is a way of reclaiming ones own life. it is a way of saying: being alive is worth-while for its own sake because i make it so."

A friend stopped by
i love the implication behind the blair witch project (1999) that someone found the filmstock that was the last earthly remnants of three college film students and thought you know what would really honor these people? if we edited this record of their madness and gruesome demise up real nice and sent it to film festivals
#well yeah they were film students. it's what they would have wanted

giggled at something and my coworker comes out of the break room and goes "I just heard like, a haunted child laugh... so weird." and I'm like okay so it was a normal regular alive adult laugh actually
For everyone who ‘used to love reading’ but now hasn’t finished a book in years, you CAN get it back. Genuinely start bringing a book (preferably short and either fiction or a non fiction topic you already really enjoy) everywhere you go and when you have 5-20 mins waiting for the bus or at the doctors office or mechanic or whatever, get out your book and read it! You don’t have to finish it quickly or even read it often but it is so good for your brain and fun to get into the habit of reading more (and replacing being on your phone for those moments). Source: I read 0 books in 2023 and I’ve read 12 in the first 4 months of 2026
