"Racialised" is much better than PoC but I've been leaning a lot on the concept of racial markedness. Because that allows us to make statements like "the name Jamal is racially marked in USA". Rather than saying something like "Jamal is a PoC name", a nonsense statement, saying it's racially marked in USA allows us to contrast with societies like Albania or the Arab countries where the name Jamal is ordinary, thus unmarked.

Ya know what, yeah, I'll use that. It explains my experience of being racialised quite well that I've struggled to give a word to describe.

I mostly agree with this, but I'd replace "at some point" with "at a certain degree of privilege". Like, someone like me, who works hard but has free time, is definitely obligated to educate theirself, but if someone is busting their ass every day and has barely any time for theirself, you can probably cut them some slack

ultimately the best way to prevent abuse is to organize society in such a way that everyone's needs are met wothout having to rely on a parent or employer or boyfriend or any one individual. obviously wont stop, like, manipulation or so on, but the ability to dangle basic needs over someone's head is one of the most powerful and consistant tools of abuse out there. if someone is able to just leave, and know that they will have access to food and shelter and clean water and education, that will enable so, so mamy victims of abuse to do just that.
