and hmm gosh whenever I get into the flow state I'm at my happiest and just enjoying the act of creating (and I've never ever been able to pick favourites of anything) but I really adore depicting extinct life forms and bringing them back to life in a sense to share - it's a great bonus that people can even learn about a species new to them.
I also love creating caring orΒ intimate, gay, sweet moments, or even treating myself to fanart or oc's that can also be gay and sweet lol (and kicking my legs gleefully and going yippee). It's great to indulge in the emotion that's pretty much the core drive of living as a human and it encompasses tons of my art. Love for partners or love for family and friends and love for life that surrounds you. πββοΈ

I was very inspired by the Tuva Republic petroglyphs, two of the little stag depictions are copies (first two, top left) while the rest are my own drawings. A link to the original publication with the illustrations can be found here for those interested!

nothing post-secondary, only my high school art program, Bealart! It's been kicking around for 114 years and it offers education from printmaking to figure drawing, animation, art history, etc.! After graduating from high school you do an additional specialty year and focus on two studios for the whole year; I chose painting and ceramics. Then I became a member of a ceramics guild after my specials year, started selling my work in the city and taking on commissions, and here I am now. Super lucky to have such facilities in my city and thankful my grade 9 high school teacher told me I should absolutely transfer over to Beal ^^

do you do international shipping to aus with your ceramics?
I do! Canada Post offers two untracked options at checkout: - small packet international surface (much slower) - small packet international air (much faster) and one tracked option: tracked packet - international ( this is air mail too, unfortunately it is pricier than the other options but I certainly recommend it for those who want to keep tabs on their order!) and sometimes I'm able to nab a decent shipping discount so I will upgrade people's shipping option when possible π«‘

two of the critters that will be available via my online store early next week along with some new stickers, prints, and other unsold work from in person vending including my ceramic magnets and dishes! I'm aiming for Monday but that isn't set in stone yet, I'll update everyone with the exact date and time in about 2 days. So I was picking the pantone colour swatches for -redacted project-, I find what I need on an unofficial site - all but one warm white because I keep on getting ugly ass cloud dancer white pantone 2026 colour of the year. No luck on the pantone colour swatches page of my ripped copy of illustrator. I go on the official pantone site and keep on getting assailed by fuck ass cloud dancer and ads to buy their $300cad+ dollar physical swatch book or pantone connect subscription until I just go to their colour finder and eyeball it and use the scrubber to finally get close enough to what I want. like. SURE.

hi Julian sorry if this is a weird question, you donβt have to respond. Iβm just curious, do you have another job or do you get to do art full time?
Yes I'm lucky enough to do art full time! My time ends up being split between managing my online store, in person vending, exhibition and gallery restock work, and some side gigs- public commissions are a bit too overwhelming given everything else going atm so I end up doing some stuff like commission work for friends on a blue moon or TA'ing at my ceramics guild and I'm currently doing a -redacted project- for a youtube channel! This week's work has been making more ceramic stock, drawing up a tote bag design, packing orders, and getting some files print ready along with -redacted project- it's nice always having something different to do :)
