I use Yandex translator and it sometimes does some weird things(like all russian softs lol). Replacing "woman" with "girl" is the least of what it manages to translate incorrectly😶‍🌫️ I'm not that good at writing in english (that's why I use a translator), but sometimes it changes the meaning of what I've written so drastically, especially if the sentence contains any feminist message or criticism of men/patriarchal products, that I have to correct everything manually.

Sometimes, the changes to the text are SO drastic that it makes you wonder: why translator would do something that changes the meaning of the sentence??

Anyway, this is still the best translator for me, because it more adapts the translation to the context of the selected words, rather than simply translating the words. Although it does have some flaws.

+In Russian, "девочка"(girl) is culturally not only a reference to a woman's age, but also a diminutive or affectionate term of endearment for a woman or one's female friends. Literally working in a female-only team, I heard this word and its derivative("девчонки","девули","девки","девчули" ) almost on a regular basis.

For context: I am very fond of cute, short girls with round faces, big eyes, and big lips, preferably with a silly and cheerful personality, and definitely with a high-pitched voice. My type is Clara Oswin Oswald from Doctor Who, Zoey from K-pop Demon Hunters, Draculaura from Monster High and Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony. I like women who like stereotypically "childish" things or behave in a stereotypically "childish" way. (This brings us to the question of what neurotypical people consider to be "adult" and "childish" behavior, and how I disagree with the existing concept of these divisions, but anyway.)

Do people say that this type is an infantilized version of women or a coping mechanism for attraction to children? Of course, they do. But here's the catch:

I'm not attracted to children. I'm not attracted to anyone under my age, or anyone who resembles a teenager/child in terms of personality. I just don't understand how someone can be romantically or sexually interested in someone who hasn't even reached their mental age yet. (I'm talking about peers who, either due to their experiences or personal beliefs, are significantly behind the average personality of their peers and seem to be "younger" morally)

I am disgusted to see children in a context where they are being portrayed as romantically or sexually attractive. I love children as much as I love animals, and I physically cannot imagine the lack of empathy and intelligence required to develop the idea that attempting to have sexual relations with a child could be a mutual experience rather than a one-sided act of violence. I am aware of the psychosocial dynamics of pedophilia and zoophilia(which share the same underlying mechanism, ironically), but this does not make it any less shocking to me. Children are in no way sexually or romantically attractive to an adult who has been formed. The opposite is possible, but children have a simpler psyche than adults, and an adult whose reasoning is reduced to "saw-fucked-won" in relation to younger individuals is a deviant who, whether he wants to or not, must reflect on his sadistic tendencies.

I like women who are what is commonly referred to as "childish". Only for some reason when I see the traits that make such a girl a "child" - my attraction is blown away by the wind. When I find out her age - my attraction just goes into the sunset. When I see that it is a child - I just have no attraction. Everything is simple and clear.

My type doesn't become an "exception" that magically makes me like children. My type is simply compared to them due to cultural context. (Which is nonsense to me, but it's a fact)

But men will still insist that it's all the same. That "a woman is a woman," and it doesn't matter how old she is if she doesn't visually "differ" from... I don't know, an adult woman, a type, or whatever shit they come up with🤦‍♀️

It's not about how a woman looks. Cute, chubby, playful women don't "promote the popularization of pedophilic culture" on their own. Men will be interested in children regardless, and they don't necessarily need a bait in the form of an adult woman (like Sabrina Carpenter). They just need an excuse. That's it.

Pedophilic culture will continue to exist as long as men are alive. Unfortunately, women won't be able to do anything about it.
