Feminism with teeth

Well as a bi woman, I trust lesbians to know who they are. They say they’re female people only capable of being attracted to other female people.

A TIM scared to go outside and scared to interact with people, including other men, is considered by progressives and leftists not paranoid, but reasonably fearful. It’s such a scary time to be trans, they say. There’s a genocide going on, they claim. It’s perfectly understandable that a trans woman is scared and wants his transfem spaces, his communities, his transfem specific resources.

my sister is a case manager and has trans clients, so i can extend some respect there, that it's literally her job to get resources for these people. i tried to make it clear that i don't wish harm on trans people and i do believe they are marginalized as well and are deserving of legal and physical protections; it's bizarre to have people who KNOW ME, my own sister and friends, assuming that i think any GNC people should be thrown out into the cold with nothing. it just shows how deep this shit the brainwashing runs, that they can't separate me as a person from ideology. but why, i ask over and over again, WHY must this be at the expense of women's safety? why is it ALWAYS at the expense of women?

i don't even want to say "natal women" or "biological women" anymore because all that does is reinforce their claims. i'm also not going to use to the term 'trans women' anymore but will stick with 'trans identifying males.'

one of the girls there ended with "well for my part i just want to say that i'm personally comfortable welcoming all different types of people into the bubble fo womanhood" ok that's great for you, but what about women who have suffered at the hands of males? women with trauma? little girls who aren't ready to see a naked male body? it really illuminated to me how complicit women are in their own oppression and i'm feeling really fucking down about it today. the hatred for women just runs so deep, i feel like i can't even wrap my mind around it.

We know this behavior and we can dismiss him for the misogynist he is without hesitation.

But the misogynistic TIMs? They’re actively pretending to be women, insisting that they are women and have ALWAYS been women. They appropriate our experiences. They infiltrate historically female only spaces and communities (I’m not even a lesbian but the amount of literal males walking around calling themselves lesbians is infuriating), and then call us bigots for protesting it. They speak over women and attempt to rewrite the history of feminism. They advocate for completely redefining the word woman.

These are men taking on the role of a woman and silencing real women but with the support of supposedly progressive movements.

We don’t have to worry about leftists publicly protecting MRAs from criticism. But when it comes to trans women, leftists themselves will completely turn against women and label us bigots.

Like, I do pick better. I have never personally been assaulted, abused, or in a relationship where any mistreatment or disrespect ever took place.

But I write about such things because I care very deeply about the women who DO go through these things.

The fact that men's lives are so self-contained and myopic that all THEY have to worry about is the singular, individual girlfriend they choose is so telling. The fact that they think we're complaining about a "few bad boyfriends" is so telling. The fact that they assume we're talking about romantic relationships at all when we're in fact talking about widespread rape and discrimination from total strangers is so telling.
