Does anyone have the link to that post explaining how the term "assigned at birth" was originally coined and used by and for intersex people (or people with DSD) before it was completely appropriated by the trans lobby, to the point that the people it was originally about have largely been forgotten?

i hate that TERFs have claimed the term “gender-critical”. Like yeah, I too am critical of the concept of gender. I am critical of the very idea that gender exists. I think it was a bad idea! But now, it just means “I am a transphobe”. And it annoys me :/

OP the only difference between you and a transphobe is that a transphobe is willing to stick to their guns and continue to insist that gender doesn't really exist even in situations where they are expected to pretend that it does. All of us started out trying to be nice and trying to find common ground with trans people, and all of us got called transphobes for it anyway. At a certain point, we all had to admit that we couldn't hold onto our critiques of gender roles and support transgenderism at the same time.

all the circular logic in the world cant hide that trans ideology DOES have a definition of woman: someone who enjoys performing femininity.
it's obvious in your art, your styles, your writing, the way you talk about transition.
it's obvious because when a girl expresses discomfort with femininity you suggest she might be trans. because "prolonged gender nonconformity" is widely accepted as a sign a child is trans. because you use the word "gender" as a synonym for style or personality.
it's the antithesis to feminism. it's basic sexism. and the more people take a closer look, the more will realize how regressive and bullshit the whole thing is.

Circular argument - “A woman is anyone that identifies as a woman.”
Ad misericordiam - “Don’t you care about those innocent trans kids that are being murdered in the street? Don’t you care about the trans women that are being violently raped every day? Trans people are being killed, there is a trans genocide happening!”
Strawman: “I’ve never actually looked at a radical feminist blog, but I’m going to make posts about how they’re all violent misogynistic and racist bigots who believe that women belong in the kitchen!”
Moral equivalence - “If you misgender a trans person, even by accident, you are as evil as Nazis and you are responsible for the deaths of trans people!”
Ad baculum - “If you don’t completely and blindly support trans people, then you’re a TERF and we beat up TERFs.”
Appeal to authority - “Well, x organization says trans people are valid!!”
Guilt by association - “You’re wrong because I saw a conservative say something similar”
Genetic fallacy - “This movement was started by trans women of color” [besides the fact that that’s blatantly untrue]
Fallacy of equivocation - “Trans women are women, it’s literally in the name”
Appeal to tradition - “Trans people have always existed!”
Fallacy of composition - “This one trans person benefitted from transitioning, therefore everyone will”

It’s really no wonder that men cling desperately to the institutions that don’t allow women out from under their brutality. Separatism terrifies them for good reason. Look at single-sex male spaces in prisons, schools, and industries. When men/boys are alone together, they quickly create castes where they treat their lowers like they treat women in broader society - and the abuse knows no limits. It’s often sexual, often fatal, and it always revolves around degradation. Males recreate patriarchy, even when they’re alone together. They’re terrified of their own brutality and need to use women as a buffer.

Hey this reminded me of schools! It’s been shown that girls learn better in schools that are sex segregated, while boys learn better in mixed classes. The boys NEED girls to be a buffer, or else they do worse. However, when the girls are forced to be a buffer, they do much poorer in school.
no literally the moment I thought about it for a second and realized that feminism was incompatible with gender I was like “oh…”
