First time I see the full lyrics without it being take me to snurch (snail church)
What really makes this for me is that OP could have phoned it in on the chorus and just repeated the same fics, but no. They found a unique one every time. Class act.

“online fandom bestie that you once shared intense intimacies with but don’t really talk to anymore simply bc we drifted into new blorbo obsessions” is such a specific type of relationship that has to be impossible to explain to anyone who hasn’t experienced it
It feels like this every time I write a fic
I wish people understood that, at the end of the day, fictional characters are simply concepts
You could name a character in a room with over 100 people, and get over 100 different perspectives on that same character
It's okay to disagree on headcanons, characterization and even canon itself, it's not okay to bash others for their own perspectives and how they themselves handle characters, though
Either way, it's still fiction, different perspectives and interpretations won't hurt anyone
My average writing experience:
"Alright I think I'm almost done actually-"
*Google doc grows second health bar and a choir starts singing in latin*

I’m trying to look for synonyms of sneer and i’m fucking dying
yeah that looks normal… yeah these are all— um. hold on. hang on.
what
AO3 appreciation post!! reblog if you love archive of our own
the fanfiction inside my head should be considered lost media
hate what people did to the dead dove tag
mothers and fuckers of the jury. "Dead dove: do not eat" is a label on a bag in the fridge. It means "the content of this bag is exactly what is labeled". It does not mean "trigger warning uhhh something". In fact, it means the exact opposite of "trigger warning uhhh something", because you use it with other tags. You write a fucked up fic with extreme violence and gore, you tag it as "extreme violence", "gore" and you tag it with "dead dove: do not eat". You write a fic with emotional abuse, gaslighting and manipulation, you tag it with "emotional abuse", "gaslighting" and "dead dove: do not eat". You write a fic with your extremely niche kink that appeals to like 3 other people and may skeeve out the rest of the fandom, you tag that with your kink and "dead dove: do not eat". It's so people know you really mean the content warnings.
It's NOT a catch-all term for "uhhh this may be fucked idk". TAG YOUR SHIT GENEROUSLY.

yall gotta be nicer about m/f bc sometimes u guys like the blandest gay sutff ive ever seen in my life
gonna add onto this you all gotta stop acting like m/f is just cishet when bisexual people exist and straight trans people exist.
last add on alot of m/f ships of poc or white/poc ship are constantly downplayed for bland white m/m or f/f ships
#also sometimes u guys r just fuckig misogynist. abt the women in m/f ships. sorry
and sometimes a m/f ship is just fun
I love it when fan fiction writers are like: “ah shit, this was meant to be one part but I started writing it and now it has to be three”. Like the fanfic is happening to them and not being created by them.
Believe me. Its happening to us
The most important thing you can do in this life is write hyper-specific fanfiction for you and six other people. Don’t believe anything else you read.
writing is easy actually. all you have to do is tell people what happened
Is this a problem?

I think people forget that Ai was trained by looking at human writing.
"Ai cause there's em dashes" it learned that from human writing.
"The amount of commas makes me think its ai" Some of us humans just dont ever wanna end a sentence let me live.
It learned all these things you use to "clock" it from real writers. So stop assuming every piece of writing with these are Ai. It learned it from us.
Fanfics with shitty English are valuable.
Fanfics with the weirdest tropes or pairings are valuable.
No beta fanfics are valuable.
Artistic outlets save lives.
Never stop writting.
