Leftists, and some liberals, want to believe that your average conservative voter is merely a hopelessly mislead Plumber Joe, a hard working simpleton who is a victim of Nancy Pelosi refusing to institute full communism and thus abolish poverty. In the fantasies of these leftists, the conservative voting bloc’s inherent stupidity (because everyone who didn’t graduate from Sarah Lawrence with an art history degree must be stupid) makes them susceptible to brainwashing. They’re so poor and so stupid that they’ve allowed the right to manipulate them into hating immigrants and gay people and minorities et. Al. And if we can simply show them how we can make everything free (because to internet leftists, Marxism for them is primarily about getting free stuff), they will happily change their lifelong held ideology.

In reality these voters are what Hillary said they were: deplorables. They are what Biden said they were: garbage.

They force women to carry their rapist’s babies to term not because the price of eggs is too high, but because they hate women.

They laughed and cheered with the secret police started kidnapping children and throwing them into kennels not because the local factory closed (said factory closed twenty years before most of them were born). They laugh and cheer because cruelty is a sport for them.

And these idiot leftists will get online and talk about how their idiot cousin supported Bernie but then switched to Trump. All that means is your cousin hated women enough to change his ideology to whatever allowed him to vote against a woman, you dumb fuck. Ok but language is also violently ripped from its original context. Language is systematically softened, commodified, rendered useless through pointed ridicule. Language is eradicated. This happens because language is dangerous to systems of power, because once abuse is articulated it can be dismantled, which is why the Klan lynched Black people for learning to read and the first thing dictators do is ban books.

It’s why woke went from a rallying cry among Black youth to be cognizant of the political violence acted upon us by the criminal justice system to a fucking comedy punchline in like two years flat. Imagine if instead of being like let’s allow everyone to use this for whatever pet purpose they have, we’d instead have been like fuck that, this word isn’t for that purpose, we empathize with whatever struggle you feel you’re experiencing, but this is language we must protect for only a specific use case.

Language meant to protect and uplift and liberate the political, social, and economic underclass WILL face challenges from both people who seem like enemies and people who seem like allies. Difference is an ally would never want to disarm you of the weapon (language) you’ve fashioned to free yourself.
