And that’s still is misogyny. Patriarchy reduces women to their reproductive role while also trying to control it. Even if males “envied” women’s role in reproduction, that doesn’t mean women actually had full control over it anyway.

Part of me still believes that there’s a small sliver of hope somewhere for women, some women are capable of waking up and actually seeing the how the world is set up for them and rejecting it. That’s the part of me that thinks change is possible even if it’s extremely slow and it’s only gonna get worse for us before it even gets slightly better. and that brings me to my next point of being “kinda bp” because at the same time i can’t ignore how many women are genuinely comfortable in their cage. They’re so deeply socialized into it that they don’t just accept it, they will defend it and glorify it, and will FIGHT to stay in it. That’s the part that feels bleak and kinda hopeless for me, because it’s not even just males enforcing it, it’s women reinforcing it too.
