yeah, she was beautiful and had immaculate taste in fashion, but i do not understand why brigitte bardot is still so popular in the 60s and 70s community? y'all realize she is a racist and just last month has been fined yet again for using racial slurs (for the sixth time). she supports the french far right-wing and in general sympathizes with conservative political parties known for publicly making anti-muslim comments and criticized the islam and "islamization of france." she wrote a book named "open letter to my lost france" which contains hate speech against muslims "invading her homeland." in another book of hers she talks about the "issue of mixing genes" as in "racial mixing", immigration and praising previous generations in history for "giving their lives to push out invaders." further than that, she ridiculed the behavior of gay people and then proceeded to defend herself for those statements by saying she has close gay friends. if y'all ask me, i would not be surprised if she had already had that mindset in the 60s and 70s and just didn't go public with it until the 90s. and whenever i see a photo of her when she was young in an oh so great outfit all i can think of is that. so yeah here's this.
