my mom and I got into a huge fight today in the car she just turned 52 and is a single mom of me and my brother she is a nurse working in a doctors office and earning well in comparison to other nurses but still she doesn’t own any property and doesn’t have more than 10k Euros in savings and for the first time while trying to talk to her about these things (as I’ve been trying for years) I realized today HOW uneducated but also STUBBORN she is like she does not understand at all that she doesn’t just fly around in a little bubble but that ongoing inflation, AI taking up jobs and fresh water, climate change and the fact the rich want us to work till we literally drop dead (that’s why they keep raising the retirement age) and that many of us who didn’t grow up and come of age like her in the 80s and 90s will have it even harder to ever own a home bc we are already fighting with fucking grocery expenses and that’s not because we are "lazy" or "expect too much" like she doesn’t understand the dangers of capitalism and fascism and climate change and AI IT DRIVES ME INSANE BC SHE ALSO WONT EVEN LISTEN SHE JUST DOESNT BELIEVE IN IT

seriously only like 15 years ago "the rich" were millionaires, and in this short time we went from millionaires not even being the biggest problem and even like 2 million bucks is closer to being poor than what billionaires have and now we‘ve actually moved to history‘s first TRILLIONAIRE I genuinely think people don’t realize how insane this is

why are we not finally doing something against musky musk as an international community like what is he gonna do against a million of us come on we can get a million together can’t we 😭 this bitch could single handedly end millions of people hungering, rebuild Gaza and still have something over to invest in renewable energy to keep us from all becoming climate refugees and after all that STILL have something over and no he did not JuSt WoRk HaRD my own mother said that today I literally wanted to jump out of the moving vehicle you simply cannot be this stupid while not even making 50k euros in a whole year

lol im at the doctors and my grandpa drove me here and on the way he was like so was the metallica concert really worth the money (i didn’t even pay for the tickets my mom did) but i was like yeah and he was like just some old men jumping around stage for that price i was like nooo and he said he watched videos from the previous shows in frankfurt and it gave him anxiety and that he doesn’t like this music so I’m like okay fast forward 10 mins were at the hospital waiting for the elevator there’s a man literally in a metallica shirt so I’m like so were you at the show too last weekend hes like yessss im like i was too my grandpa is like I wasn’t and asks him if he thought it was worth it he’s like yeah again and again it is LMAAAOOO

literally crashing out over the fact that on this very day 12 YEARS AGO??? i saw Black Sabbath with Soundgarden as their opening act like wdym it’s been 12 years 😭 and the fact both Ozzy and Chris are gone and both bands don’t exist anymore 😭 and I’m not 17 and on summer break anymore 😭

oh btw the same people who sat next to us were the ones who sold the tickets that we ended up getting through Ticketmaster resale and it turned out we actually paid the exact same price for the tickets that they paid even though they managed to get them in the actual pre-sale last year I actually think it’s cool that Ticketmaster is this fair and fights against scalpers and inflated re-sale prices like if you bought tickets and need to re-sell them bc you actually can’t go you can apparently only do so for the price you got them for in the first place

I always wondered do other people also feel this way after concerts or do they just go back to their normal lives and are happy with the experience as it was

Man im just sad bc the band and their team get this insane atmosphere like every 3 days while I’m back in this boring life but I wouldn’t even know how you‘d get a job like that (let alone be in a band as big as Metallica for example) also this kind of life is so incompatible with me me/cfs like it was worth going but I feel like I drank 20 beers and had 40 cigarettes (I had none)

Wait I just heard 95.000 people are coming to the show tomorrow ☠️😭 I’m so glad I have a seat but my anxiety will probably be through the roof getting out of there and back home

Im excited to go but imma also be for real anytime I actually see a band I love my era struggle REALLY kicks even more about how I was born too late to have actually seen them in the 70s 80s or early 90s so I will probably fall into depression after tomorrow

It’s alright I just took a risk and cut the collar of one of my shirts wider and now it’s actually better it was genuinely the collars of those unisex bandshirts that sit so high up your neck what overstimulated me
