The vent blog thing being okay is dependent on whether your names are attached to it. Its fine and *you're* making it weird it's all anonymous and nobodys name is attached to it, but you're completely justified in being upset if her(and by extension) your identities are attached to it

i have never complimented someone and had them respond like they're being inconvenienced. if someone drops hints that they're not interested i leave them alone. i regularly meet new people and if someone acted like that ("ok...?") i'd be grateful bc i don't want to be friends with someone who is an asshole

That video of a person is someone desperate to end a conversation with you. Regular people that want to interact with you are significantly more engaged and putting effort into a convo lol

i think "women think abuse is hot" (because women are largely the group reading romantasy genres) is a very ungenerous sentiment. women who are attracted to men grew up in a world that fetishizes their abuse and they have been absorbing those messages their entire lives. when i see the popularity of yandere boyfriend tropes or whatever i think it's honestly pretty sad and, like, these women are victims of a misogynistic society. i am not motivated to be like "these women are creepy perverts for not having unlearned everything society taught them about what they're supposed to think is sexy and romantic (even when they're just indulging in a corny book), they should be reading ethical smut for thinkers"

somno anon, it's not that deep. some partners are fine w being touched in their sleep, hence consensual. it's as if saying consensual surgery isn't possible because you get drugged and can't remove consent while under anesthesia... that's why you agree to it BEFOREHAND

I tried to ask my therapist about this but she's in her 70s and doesn't really get it so I'm asking here. My ex has a diary/vent blog that was supposed to be a secret but I found it pretty early (she screen shared and it was on the sidebar) while we were still dating. After I found it she privated it. We broke up and sometime after she un-privated it. A majority of what is on the blog is about me and our relationship. I've tried to address it with her and every time she gets indignant and insists that I don't get to talk about it because it's her diary/vent blog, however I feel like she should have kept the blog privated if that was the case and it's crazy she has that all posted online. I also feel like if the roles were reversed she would probably feel the same way that I do. I need people who are also on this website to chime in
